Duties/ Responsibilities included but not limited to,
• Involves supervision and monitoring of ongoing activities at site.
• Review and study the contractor’s submittal (shop drawing, inspection and test plan, design basis reports, interface drawing, work method of statement / risk assessment).
• Inspect electrical installation for Power System, Track works, Overhead Catenary, Aesthetic Power Supply, 33kV Medium Voltage panels.
• Inspect, witness Installation and Testing & Commissioning of 33kV MV panels, Step Down Transformers, AC/DC Traction Transformers, Essential & Non Essential LV Distribution panels, Traction Distribution Boards, Rectifier & Isolating Switch Boards, UPS, etc.
• Witness Testing & Commissioning of Feeder & Differential Protection Relays, PLC and SCADA.
• To ensure the work procedures as per the Work Method Statement and inspection performed as per the guidelines of the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and its relevant inspection checklists.
• To ensure all installations are in compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications & construction standards.
• Witness ongoing Testing & Commissioning works of rail sub systems.
• Prepare Site Inspection Report as per inspection and daily monitoring at site.
• Review, monitor and report on the contractor’s activities and raise Non-Conformance Reports(NCRs) as required.
Duties/ Responsibilities included but not limited to,
● Mixed role of designing and overlooking execution of electrical power distribution, lighting &
control, surveillance, access control systems for building services.
● Close coordination and follow up with Client’s Representative and stake holders for
monitoring project progress and evaluate concerns and shortcomings to ensure progress and
completion as per timeline.
● Performing variety of electrical engineering and design related tasks including load
calculations, specifications, and electrical power distribution system design.
● Pivot point for streamlined coordination among vendor and procurement team.
● Preparation of MRs, Technical Bid evaluation and support in issue of PO’s.
● Preparation of submittals including detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM),
schematics, Inspection plans, Testing & Commissioning Procedures.
● Inspect installation of all electrical system equipment for multiple disciplines.
● Coordination with commissioning team to prepare energization packages in compliance with
regulations and test requirements.
● Supervision of equipment erection and installation including but not limited to transformers,
DGE sets, switchgear, MCC, transfer switches, distribution panel boards, lighting fixtures and
all relevant items.
● Coordinate with different teams for clash detection & mitigation.
Project: Lusail Light Rail Transit (LRT) System
Contractor: QDVC-ALSTOM Consortium
Client: Qatar Railways Company
Duties/ Responsibilities included but not limited to,
• Inspect, Monitor & Document Electrical activities at underground stations and tunnels.
• Coordinate with Construction/Sub-contractors, ICE & the Employer’s Representative (PMCM).
• To ensure the work procedures as per the Work Method Statement and inspection performed as per the guidelines of the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and its relevant inspection checklists.
• To ensure all installations are in compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications & construction standards.
• Participate in site walks, safety tours, internal audit & auditing subcontractor.
• To conduct surveillance for on-progress activities looking for conformity and initiate corrective action if non conformity found.
• Ensure completeness and traceability of inspection records (ITR), QC Reports & QC Graphical Monitorings.
• To ensure through site surveillance, calibration of instrument, device or material is current.
• Follow up NCRs (internal & external) generated due to Non-Conformity and push the subcontractor to adopt corrective action to restore conformity.
• Preparing daily site reports, weekly reports, conduct inspections and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Preparing work progress charts/monitorings for each trade.
Project: Msheireb Downtown Doha (Phase-1B)
Client: Msheireb Properties (Subsidiary of Qatar Foundation)
Duties/ Responsibilities included but not limited to,
• Estimating, preparing and assigning resources including manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior execution.
• Inter Disciplinary coordination with engineers/managers for successful implementation and completion of project.
• Coordination with contractor for any site instructions and inspection of works.
• Preparing/Revising Method of Statements in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer recommendations.
• Preparing daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Assisting Bi-weekly/monthly site walks with the project manager/general manager and the client’s representative’s.
• Attending coordination meetings and workshops.
• Preparing look ahead schedules and work progress charts.
• Clash mitigation with other services and disciplines.
• Assisting the Project Manager in variation works preparation takedown and completion of As-built drawings
Project: Al-Rar Inlet Separation Facility, Algeria (Brownfield-Onshore)

Duties/ Responsibilities included but not limited to,
• Coordinate with Projects & Planning on project time schedules, establish target completion dates, ensure target dates are achieved and maintain productivity.
• Implementation of Quality standard / procedure and ensure the quality of document produce in design office as well as in Engineering Centre.
• Coordinate preparation of Equipment Layouts, Cable Routing Drawings, Cable Trench/Tray Layout Drawings, Lighting System Layout and details, Earthing & Lightning protection Layout and details, Heat Tracing Layout and details, Installation Standard Drawings, Cable Schedules, Cable Drum Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Relay Coordination Drawings and other required documents.
• Assist in the preparation of Load list/schedule, Single Line Diagrams, Schematic/Logic Diagrams.
• Coordinate the electrical system studies using ETAP or client specified software. Perform/ coordinate design calculations for earthing & lightning protection, lighting, relay settings etc.
• Review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot plans, General Arrangement drawings (GAD’s), Review Philosophies, Area Classification Drawings and other relevant documents.
• Inter-Discipline Checks (IDCs) coordination with other engineering discipline.
Project: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA)
Client: GMR (GHIAL)
Responsibilities included but not limited to,
• Responsible for implementation and execution of the works as per the approved layouts and detailed designs as per the site conditions.
• Performing duties assigned by the Project Manager.
• Handle all the electrical works at site in accordance to the safety and quality standards.
• Inter Disciplinary coordination for successful implementation and completion of tasks assigned.
• Estimating, preparing and assigning the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior execution.
• Preparing daily site reports, BOQ, estimate as required.
• Supporting the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical groups at site and respective variation works.
