Responsible to install, maintain, monitor, and support of infrastructure technologies operating in 24x7 business environments. Ensure Security of servers (windows (2008, 2012) and Linux), LAN and Wireless infrastructure of the organization by designing security policies and procedures. Administrating corporate infrastructure that includes network connectivity and internet access and restricting Internet access to company’s employees depending on their job profile.
Duties:
o Configuring firewalls with SD-WAN (Cisco ASA, Cyberoam and Fortinet).
o Configuring Cisco Router (3900, 2900), Switches (6509-E, 4500, 3750, 3560, 2960X, SG500, SG200).
o Managing VOIP system (Avaya IP phones).
o Managing Anti-Virus system (Symantec, BitDefender and Kaspersky) and Ensuring Endpoint security.
o Management of Cloud services (AWS).
o Configuring Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)
o Configuration, implementation, and administrating wireless equipment (Aruba controller and access points).
o Implementing 802.1x security and troubleshooting.
o Configuration, implementation, and administrating physical and virtual servers having Windows operating systems (Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 including domain controllers, and DNS servers).
o Managing users, computers, security groups, GPOs, and other Active Directory requirements for the site.
o Managing radius server for wireless users and tactfully handling end users.
o Managing NVR software.
o Performing complex troubleshooting, backup and disaster recovery.
o Generating documents of network infrastructure and writing up accurate technical documentation.
o Working on large scale, publicly facing website and participating in 24x7 on-call.
o Ensuring that all the service level agreements (SLA) are met.
Responsible to design network and security policies for company’s infrastructure that includes LAN,
WAN, wireless, IP phones, CUCME and PBX (Asterisk). Responsible to manage AWS cloud services.
Duties:
o Configuration and maintenance of Cisco ASA, Cisco Router (2900), CME, PBX (Asterisk) and
Switches (3750, 2960).
o Implementation and management of VPN services.
o Upgrading infrastructure equipment.
o Connecting Cisco IP phones to Asterisk PBX.
o Managing cloud services (AWS).
o Implementation and management of Virtual Machines.
o Administer work in team environment and manage an array of technical issues.
o Participate in team meetings, provide installation support and resolve all issues effectively and
within timeframe.
o Coordinate with account managers and colleagues and maintain records for all account status.
o Maintain documents for IT infrastructure and provide support to all procedures and processes.
o Prepare all user manuals for commercial deployments of networks, documents system for
recovery processes and ensure effective support.
o Provide technical support to employees and process all purchase orders.
Responsible for organizing, modifying and supporting company’s computers and servers. Administer servers, desktop computers, printers and software deployment.
Duties:
o Management of Servers and installation of software’s.
o Troubleshooting support to windows 7, Windows Server 2008.
o Installing and upgrading operating system.
o Installing MySQL, IIS and PHP.
o Working closely with KSU’s networking team, support staff and network engineers.
o Deployment of printers, projectors and scanners.
