-My job was to take History and do General Physical &
Systemic examination of the newly admitted patients.
-Sending Labs and Investigations like CBC, U/C/E, LFT, Urine D/R, X-Ray Chest, Ultrasound, CT Scan and MRI.
-Informing the consultant.
-To ensure Safe and Secure Transfusion of Blood and its related products.
-Councelling the patient and attendents about the disease
prognosis.
-Performing Minor Bed-Side Procedures like:Passing N/G Tube, Foley's Catheter, I/V Cannula, Performing Ascitic Tap, P/R Exam, Manual Evacuation of Feaces, Dressing of Wounds especially wounds contaminated with Maggotts.
-An important aspect of my job was to make sure Safe and
Securely administration of Intravenous Chemotherapy
(e.g., TAC, Folfox 4 (5-FU), R-CHOP, ADVB, etc) to cancer patients.
-Blood Transfusion.
-Another important job was to manage Post-Chemo side
effects like:
1. Treating Neutropenia (giving Granulocyte Colony
Stimulating Factor like Granulocyte/Neupogen),
2.Treating Gastroenteritis,
3.Managing Fluid & Electrolyte Imbalance, etc.
-Also my job was to manage patients admitted for Radition
induced side effects.
-Summerized 3 thousand patients records that were on
paper "Lloyd George" (enrolled in the the GP Practice) and
Read Coding them electronically on EMIS LV (Egton
Medical Information System Larger Version).
-Entering GP Consultations in EMIS LV.
-Sending Electronic referal letters via Smart Card to
Northwest London NHS Hospitals Trust.

-Filling Chronic Disease Tempelates in EMIS LV.
