• Administration and Management of IT Servers of the Bank.
• Managing the data Centre and computer host systems of the Bank.
• Providing 2nd level system support to the IT help desk team and ensuring training of the help desk staff on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure that Server Data of the Bank is properly secured & back-up is taken in case of system crash.
• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware/software and related infrastructure.
• Ensures that audit of system hardware, operating systems and software systems is conducted satisfactory and that related procedures are in line with the policies and procedures of the Bank.
• Assists project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of the Bank’s Standard Project Management Methodology; which include need definition, benefits, technical strategy, research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis & design, support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
• Responsible for the administration & management of the following systems: Windows and Application systems that support Asset Management.
• Preparation and updation of the installation and configuration procedures on an ongoing basis.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems & key processes, reviewing system & application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
• Perform daily backup operations ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
• Apply OS patches and upgrade on a regular basis, upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.

Besides performing the job role of System Administrator following additional assignments/duties were handled successfully.

• Preparation of Help Desk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Deployed McAfee Enterprise across the Bank as a team member.
• Developed Online Requisition System for IT in which the requisition is generated through web application and has the workflow approval system for purchasing inventory after online approval.
• Participated in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

• Developed an IT Procurement Policy Document of the Bank.
