PSA/SCADA AUTOMATION LEAD -

1. Responsible for all Engineering related issues to PSA in 11-substations, CCR and 3 other
buildings (ESO, STG, Admin) of Fadhili Gas Plant Project.
2. Responsible for issuance of all PSA Engineering Documents and shared with relevant
departments for construction/Installation.
3. Responsible for Managing and tracking Vendors resources effectively and efficiently.
4. Liaising with all involved departments to ensure timely delivery of PSA system in every
Substation for Energization.
5. Coordination with all Vendors e.g. Battery Charger, F&G, HVAC, and PSA.
6. Coordination with client for completed projects SOW issues and ensure client satisfactions.
7. Responsible for Conducting meeting with Higher Management of Client-Aramco along with
Higher Management of TR.
8. Prepare technical & Engineering proposals for building change orders as per Aramco
requirements.
9. Manage and track completed projects status and share with Client-Aramco
10. Provide technical support for PSA Vendor and Third Party System Vendor.
11. Assist teams for all technical and troubleshooting issues that may arise on the course of
Commissioning.
12. Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the Vendors to their higher management and as
well as to TR-Management for their information.
13. Responsible to make sure that the material is delivered as per issued P.O to PSA Vendor or
else raise the negative variation.
14. Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.
15. Also, Provide Support to Pre-Com team in their Activities as per TR higher management
instructions.

1. Manage Automation projects such as Systems Integration for Power System Automation
(PSA), Power Monitoring Systems (PMS), Substation Automation Systems (SAS), Open
Substation Automation Systems (OSAS), SCADA /RTU, Metering/Relays in various
communication protocol such as ION, DNP, Modbus RTU/TCP, SPA Bus, OPC & IEC61850.
2. Develops and Implements project procurement plans; complete within time and budget
requirements.
3. Manage and track completed projects status, gather client information/contact persons,
collect system backup and other data from project team for future reference and system
restoration.
4. Coordination with client for completed projects warranty and Non-warranty issues and
ensure client satisfactions.
5. Prepare technical proposals for installed system upgrade, Maintenance contract, and
non-warranty system repair and submit to Design department to handle commercial
matter.
6. Conduct site visit for meeting with Client and investigate problems of installed systems.
7. Manage schedule of Engineers for service maintenance and repair.
8. Liaising with all involved departments to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
9. Managing and tracking resources effectively and efficiently.
10. Ensure products and services are according to terms & conditions, client standard and
expectations.
11. Keep track of team expenses.
12. Assist teams for all technical and troubleshooting issues that may arise on the course of
fixing problems.
13. Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the project team. Request technical
assistance from project teams.
14. Provide technical support, coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews of all
Engineers in the team.
15. Identify trainings needs where Engineers performance requires strengthening especially
on trouble-shooting.
16. Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.
17. Counsel Team members on behavior and initiate disciplinary actions if required.
18. Comply with the Company rules and regulations.
19. Submit Monthly Project status reports to department Director.

1. Working on Power System Automation (PSA), Power Monitoring System (PMS), Motor
Protection Package System (MPP) and SCADA Systems.
2. Implementing IEC-61850 and configuring SCADA using Survalent and Zenon software.
3. Programming PML meters, G.E relays, Soft Starter, RTU, commissioning on site and start-
up.
4. Designing of graphical user interface diagram (Electrical one-line diagram).
5. Designing the system for PMS using different communication possibilities, like serial
communication and Ethernet with in different network topologies.
6. Enabling communication with third party devices by using different third party protocols
i.e. MODBUS PROTOCOL and DNP PROTOCOL.
7. Integration of PMS system with Scada RTU Dhahran & DCS Systems.
8. Conducting SAT and FAT with Aramco according to Inspection and Test Plan.
9. Preparing proposals, NMR reports (NMR-601, NMR-602, and NMR-603) and Spare Parts
Data Packages.
10. Dealing with the sub-contractors and vendors in order to achieve the deadlines on time.
11. Preparing bi-weekly and monthly progress reports to keep the project team and
management up to date.
