Digital Systems (Current)
* Devised IT Strategy comprising Enterprise Architecture, Digital Strategy and Passenger Experience Strategy in line with the PIA's 5-year Business Plan.
* Implemented new Passenger Services System (PSS), from selection of Vendor to Project Execution, Process Mapping and Change Management.
* Implemented Projects like Digital Crew Log, Engineering Tech Log, RFID based Safety Application etc.
* Completed Selection of Vendor for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Project and now in the execution phase. Defined, Sprints, Program Increment (PI) and Release Train planning for MRO projects.
* Established Project Management Office (PMO), for project portfolio management and also the Vendor Management Office (VMO) Section for Demand Management, Sourcing Contracting and SLA Monitoring, for all IT service providers including Managed Service
Providers (MSPs), Technology HW/SW vendors, on-Prem and Cloud vendors.
* Aligned with Industry Frameworks and Blueprints like Technology Business Management (TBF) and IATA's Simplify the Business (StB) initiatives, Representing PIA as Champion in the StB Think Tank in IATA.
* Restructured & Upgraded the ICT Infrastructure & Liberated from Legacy Systems
* Developed Social Media Management Strategy, selected vendor and SLA management.
* Developed revenue models with technology services to earn ancillary sales through website, mobile app, on ground and onboard in flight and through in-house and partner networks.
* Completed integration with Global Distribution System (GDS), Online Travel Agents (OTA's), Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS) / Common Use Terminal Emulation (CUTE) etc.
* Developed Human Resource Budget, Recruitment, Interviews, organized promotion boards, internal and external recruitment in order meet our skills requirements.
* Functional Lead for Oracle EBS for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation with installations of Exadata and Exalogics.
* Institute plans and implement measures relating to information security, firewall, and business continuity planning and disaster recovery site and ensure systemic backups.
* Development of Dashboards, data marts and analytical reports.
* Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms including, virtualization, clouds, web
application frameworks, mobile apps, and the deployment stack.
* Assess training requirements, develop plan, develop training modules, and facilitate training
programs to stakeholders on usage, features, disaster management, recovery plans.
* Redesigning of Datacenter from consolidation to balancing with public clouds.
* Develop and manage PIA websites and promote passenger engagement through online and

Distribution Strategist
* In past PIA had only one dominant distribution network and over 90% of its sales was coming through only indirect channel. With the change of PSS at airline, our next focus was broaden the distribution channels, engage multi Global Distribution System (GDS), balance airlines reliance on direct and indirect sales channels, explore new technological platforms for airline distribution like On-line Travel Agents (OTAs), Aggregators, Meta search Engines.
* So we have developed a comprehensive Airline's Distribution Strategy 2019-2022 outlining airlines plans to align with IATA's New Distribution Capability (NDC) architecture, One Order and to become Full Retailing Platform (FRP).
* As key strategist for distribution strategy, we have completed integrations with major GDSs, OTAs, increased partnerships with other airlines through Code Share and Interlines, and also enhancing our integrations with Auxiliary services platforms.
* In line with the strategy, the procurement process, negotiations and technical integrations have been completed with new GDSs/ OTAs and aggregators. Implementation of Maintainance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO-IT) Project.
Platform R&D
* NADRA initiated Smart ID - chip based card system to provide a complete solution for
automated identification of citizens based on optimal technology platform for a secure ID
system with both online and offline secure identity verifications. The Smart card based ID
system provides for numerous services especially for Social and financial inclusion programs.
* NADRA built its proprietary OS for its smart card including the three-layer access and
memory management. The smart ID card has 36 security features, and is built on open inter-
operable standards compliant to the ICAO standard 9303 and ISO standard 7816-4.
* As part of the project team, I was responsible to schedule and track the project activities,
work on the application eco system of the Smart ID.
Benazir Income Support Program (BISP)
Special assignment: Setup of NADRA office in Vice Consulate of Pakistan Birmingham UK,
Awareness of National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) Customer care,
collection of personal data of Pakistani Nationals and arrangement of mobile campaigns for
scattered Pakistani communities.
Worked as Branch in charge in District offices of NADRA Swift Registration centers (NSRC's)
in Khanewal and Bahawalpur. Responsible for managing Registration matters, HR, accounts,
and Public relations and implementation of NADRA procedures and policies.
Core job included system analysis, Designing of Database, Forms and Reports, Testing and
liaison with customers. Meet enquiries, demonstrate the product and services.
