Role:
•Managing a team of Engineers to achieve a cost effective design through timely resolution of technical and engineering issues
•Contributing in preparing tender packages, tendering process, tender evaluation & submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant Tender Committees
•Conducting project feasibility studies & review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking and developing, reviewing the business case and the definition of requirements while clarifying the quality of the project
•Coordinating complete functions of end-to-end project management including project team resource identification, stakeholder interface, project planning, requirements gathering, technical & functional documentation and issue tracking & resolution
•Preparing & implementing Project Execution and QHSE Plans for all assigned projects
•Identifying & evaluating the project risks / lesson learnt registers, preparing mitigation plans and ensuring their successful implementation
•Developing & maintaining detailed project schedules and monitoring costs to ensure project schedules are on track and meet all deadlines
•Translating requirement in constructability review, project meetings with clients, contractors & vendors into workable project schedule
•Assessing the generated project plans, schedule of activities, budget & cost estimates and procuring, mobilizing & deploying resources to deliver the project within the defined time and costliness; initiating procurement activities with define schedules
•Performing material reconciliation of project materials by anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of the project
•Imparting trainings to the resources during preparation of technical and cost estimates for the project, work breakdown structure, project plan, contingency plan & schedules
•Steering tendering teams; preparing cost estimates, Bill of Quantity /Material take offs from drawings & site investigations
Role:
•Collaborated closely with other internal departments and stakeholders through regular meetings to ensure client/ contractual needs and expectations are communicated to achieve positive results
•Executed day-to-day contracts / commercial administration during execution stages and finally claims and arbitration management towards achieving the targeted financial objectives
•Witnessed all testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities to ensure contractors compliance with the approved plans & procedures; reviewed test results generated by Third Party Agencies and approve those complying with the Specification requirement.
•Reviewed and approved mechanical equipment and materials through Material Approval Certificates (MAC) as per contract specification; verified the accuracy of prices and quantities included in the contract documents for the mechanical work
•Identified and made recommendation on mechanical design issues during construction stage and reported on discrepancies in the original design or in Contract Documents which necessitate Contract modification
•Determined the long & short-term goals for the instruments and systems reliability to ensure positive results in the area of engineering & manufacturing
•Conducted detailed analysis of plant commissioning, assessed requirements of special tools /temporary facilities/ equipment required for pre commissioning & commissioning, preparing Equipment/Tools list and initiating procurement
•Monitored project baselines and controlling them with respect to cost, resource deployment, saving time and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
•Delivered presentations to project teams with an aim to create a culture around identifying, communicating and mitigating risks; prepared man-hour and material estimates, and monthly budget reports for all piping design efforts and submitted progress report to project controls
•Built effective relationship with core and extended team members, functional managers, senior management, and customers
•Planned and implemented creative technical solutions to complete a project successfully within time and budget with resources available and maximized the operational result and profits; ensured amicable relationship with clients & stakeholders

OF DUBAI, UAE Main Consultant: WS Atkins & Partners Overseas MEP Consultant: WS Atkins & Partners Overseas MEP Supervision Consultant: Systra/Parsons Main Contractor: Japan Turkey Metro Joint MEP Contractor: ETA-SET JV Total No. Of Station: 25 Elevated Stations & 4 Underground Stations Project Cost: 1.5 Billon AED Project Type: District Cooling System, Fire Suppression system, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, Smoke Ventilation, Domestic hot & cold water, Surface & Foul drainage. Project Details: Type 1 elevated station, it consists of 4 levels i.e. basement, concourse, Intermediate and platform level. Station has 1 fire pump room(R51) in basement having 2 fire pumps and 1 jockey pump, 2 chilled water plant rooms at concourse level (R52 & R53) having 2 chilled water pumps, 2 Heat exchanger, 1 pressurization unit and 1 chemical dosing pot each. Apart from this station has 2 AHU plant room at intermediate level (R70.1& R70.2) having 5 AHU each. Apart from this station has 45 FCU'S installed at different locations.
