Overseeing and conducting the QA/QC activities which included
Studying the engineering drawings and developing new drawings
(ITP‟s) Inspection and test plan, Quality management procedure review
Monitoring and inspecting the prefabrication works by the contractors including the inspection of incoming materials, material handling, heat number transfer, Fit-up, welding activities, PWHT of welded joints, hardness test, PMI, reinforced pad test.

The responsibilities on the job were not bound to design, but also involved various tasks which included product development and QA/QC.
Interpretation of the client‟s requirements.
Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and on time.
Drafting/ Designing new products and updating old drawings and modelling them as per the manufacturing requirements using solid works.
Performing stress analysis.
Liaise with both customer and operators in the workshop to achieve high quality and customer goals.
Maintaining quality of the work on the shop floor and throughout the manufacturing and fabrication process
Research Project's included Sustainability Analysis, Performance Measurement, Supply chain Management and developing a Performance Measuring Tool specific to Green Supply Chain in the Automotive Industry.
- Assisted in design and analysis of components.
- Overseeing QA/QC activities including visual inspection of welded joints.
- Assisted in the project of Designing and Analysis of Gear Trains; modelled gears in solid works, conducted stress analysis, Conducted load calculations on internal and external gears.

SolidWorks, testing and fabricating it by conforming to the regulations for SAE BAJA 2010, national- level competition, for Team MJCET 2010.

Role: I was involved in designing and detailing of the individual parts of epicyclic gear train in Solid Works software, also calculating loads on gears, giving presentation to tutors to describe the project and regular meetings with the team members to apply different techniques to solve the issues regarding the development of the model. Result: Successful Development and analysis of the epicyclic gear trains.
