Performs work in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Provided technical support and guidance to junior electrical technicians.
Training of junior staff members on proper safety protocols when working with electricity.
Provide relevant safety permits and apply (lockout or tagout) before commencing work.
Performs and completes maintenance work order requests, daily work reports, and maintenance and inventory records on spare parts and equipment on ECM and CMMS.
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of preventive maintenance and motor control units, including soft starters, line motor protection relays, VFDs, transformers, LV/MV motors, UPS, and other instrument equipment used to monitor and control quality.
Testing and commissioning of LV/MV switchgear and service, maintenance, and reactive breakdowns of switchgear panels.
Operation of all critical facility systems includes electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, fire, and controls.
Monitor the Facilities Operations Center and ensure that all monitoring system alarms are responded to in a timely manner.
Carry out vendor inspections during your shift, checking and monitoring the quality of work, and reviewing data and service reports.
Analyzed drawings, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints related to electrical system design and installation.
