• Overhauling of centrifugal compressors, checking clearance of journal bearings, thrust bearings, labyrinth seals, and replacement of mechanical seals.
• GE Energy Gas Turbines- Frame 3, Frame 5001, Frame 6 FA, Frame 6B, GE oil & Gas Compressors- Frame 5002.
• Installation and commissioning of auxiliary oil pumps.
• Casing alignments, disassembling & assembling of Gas Turbine rotor blades, buckets, nozzles, diffuser and auxiliaries.
• Buckling of cylindrical and conical shells under axial compression, Bending and External Pressure.
• Understanding the large elastic displacement of these types of structures can prevent sudden buckling failures from applied operational and constructional loads.
• Applying Finite Element Method principle to solve for cylindrical and conical shells.
• The investigated models displayed snap-through behaviors after reaching a critical point.
