Intern Trainee at RESEARCH CENTRE IMARAT
  • India - Hyderabad
  • January 2014 to April 2014

• Buckling of cylindrical and conical shells under axial compression, Bending and External Pressure.
• Understanding the large elastic displacement of these types of structures can prevent sudden buckling failures from applied operational and constructional loads.
• Applying Finite Element Method principle to solve for cylindrical and conical shells.
• The investigated models displayed snap-through behaviors after reaching a critical point.
• The Finite Element Methods software ANSYS can be successfully implemented for the same
• The best material and thickness can be determined under this process.
