Main assingment is to interpret newly acquired 3D seismic data over the licensed block. Objective is to expedite the exploration leads and their up-gradation to prospect level. Whereas, other responsibilities include interaction with contractors, mentoring the junior local staff and preparation of miscellneous reports for management as and when required.
Overall provision of interpretative results on new areas with recommendations to the management. Reports directly to the Exploration Manager. Participation as Seismic Interpreter for ongoing Exploration activities in the acquired blocks.
New ventures farm-in opportunity and new blocks evaluation. Seismic data acquisition planning, processing and interpretation of Clastic reservoir (extentional tectonic) and carbonate reservoir (Compression tectonic) data sets. Planning and execution of JV meetings on regular basis. Interaction with contractors in negotiations for contract finalization.
As Team Lead/Manager:
Management of the Exploration Licenses acquired by the Company. Supervision of the in-house studies. Interaction with the contractors working at different locations for data interpretation and other related services. Technical team member for evaluation of an oilfield discovered in 1980 to be explored and developed (Tajikistan). Participated with engineers in volumetrics and risk assessment.
Pakistan and Syria, report writing with recommendations to the management. Seismic Data 2D/3D interpretation of the acquired assets of Clastic reservoirs (extentional tectonic) and carbonate reservoirs (Compression tectonic) data set. Seismic data acquisition planning and interpretation. Interaction with contractors in negotiations to finalize the contracts. Visits to field crew during seismic acquisition for QC purposes.
Data management at head office. Monitoring the field operations. Assistance to the supervisors in field operations and office based work (mainly in data interpretation projects)
Seismic data 2D/3D interpretation mainly on carbonate reservoir (Compression tectonic) data sets.. Field responsibilities included seismic survey planning, contract negotiations assistance to the Manager, frequent field visits for monitoring the operations and QC. Visits to the processing centers to coordinate and QC the processing work. Projects of data interpretation were carried out from Iraq, Yemen.
