Responsible for reviewing and interpreting Tender documentations, Technical specifications and Client’s requirements,
Preparation of Process Design and Sizing of the complete plant.
Preparation of Piping & Instrument diagram (P&ID) and General arrangement drawings (GA/Layout).
Provide inputs and optimization of P&ID and GA drawings.
Coordinate with the other functionary department (i.e. Engineering/ Process department ) for Optimal Engineering and regarding detail design of proposed wastewater, water and sewage treatment plant facilities
Attend pre-bid meetings and Site Visits.
Preparation and compilation of pre-bid queries and lead the technical discussion with client and consultants, response to client’s requirements.
Issue RFQ to Vendors and Subcontractors.
Evaluate vendors and subcontractors offer and clarify for compliance with requirements, List of Inclusion and exclusion.
Generating the equipment request for questions and send it to suppliers
Follow up on commercial and technical clarifications from Vendors and subcontractors
Negotiation with Vendors/subcontractors for competitive quotes.
Creating a technical and commercial comparison tables between suppliers to select among them the most competitive offers.
Responsible for developing the proposal plan, budget and resource requirements,
Establishing schedules, proposal outlines, and responsibility matrix;
Responsible for generating proposal costing and pricing estimation, calculation of applicable taxes and duties, Freight charges, generate documents and proceed for price approval from management.
Preparation of complete proposal for submission including Scope of Offer, Design basis, Termination points, List of Exclusion, Equipment specifications and data sheets, Commercial Terms & Conditions, etc
Prepare structured, complete and professional proposal documents in compliance with client specifications
Ensures risk assessment is into consideration into costing stage
Provide replies to request for clarifications from the clients regarding the submitted proposals.
Follow up on projects achievements by visiting sites and reviewing progress reports;
Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposal of pump stations, R.O and STP Plants
Prepares a high quality and professionally presented offer in compliance with client requirements
Liase directly with Engineering, Sales and other departments and indirectly with sub contractors and client to obtain the inputs required to produce the optimum proposal
Keep abreast t of developments in the technology, process and the markets
Supervise and train proposal engineer , review and finalize the proposal technically & commercially with proposal Engineer and issue to GM for approval
Comply with al legal and HSE requirements/procedures.
In case of award, preparing the project file and arranging for the smooth handing over to project department.
Check the project rationalized budget prepared by projects dept. and give a solution in case of having over budget items.

Study of Contract/Tender documents, identify scope of works and review technical specification and equipment schedule of the projects.
Material Take-off (MTO) from the drawings for Pumping Station and Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP) including but not limited to Pipes & Fittings, Valves, Pumps, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, etc.
Issue inquiries to Manufacturers/Suppliers as per approved Vendor list.
Constant follow up with Manufacturers/ Suppliers for obtaining quotes.
Reply to the queries received from the Manufacturers/ Suppliers.
Study the quotation received from Manufacturers/Suppliers.
Prepare Bill of Quantity (B.O.Q).
Preparing technical comparison as per the project specification and cost comparison for selection of approved material (Good Quality Product) form the right supplier.
Negotiations with the supplier to reduce the cost of the project.
Attend Site visit and raise clarifications as per site conditions.
Final bid preparation, discussion with senior level management for tender price finalization.
Preparing Technical offer as per the requirement stated in the tender documents.
Filling the tender technical data sheets.
Preparing preliminary method statements.
Prepare manpower/equipment schedule to be submitted to client along with tender.
Preparation of Organization chart as per contract requirements.
Assisting Planning engineer in preparing Program for tender.
Reply to post bid technical and commercial clarifications.
Maintaining a data base for materials on monthly bases, client/specification basis, etc.
Prepare preliminary design of Water & wastewater treatment plants, R.O Plants, Pumping stations, Grey water treatment plants, including selection of suitable size pumps, Pipe work & Fittings (D.I, GRP, HDPE, CARBON STEEL, S.S, etc), All Kinds of Valves, Penstocks, macerators, odour control units, Lifting equipments, Surge vessels, and chambers for Pressure mains based on the design guidelines provided.
Prepare, review and provide the material submittal in line with the specification for the consultant / client’s approval.
Reply to the comments received upon material submittal provided to the Client/Consultant
Prepare Mechanical shop drawings based on the material approval and site / Installation requirements (showing location of equipments, Pipes and Fittings, valves and cover slabs for access with dimensions & material list in the chambers).
Constant follow up with suppliers on various stages of production & delivery of material in view of their requirement at site for installation.
Issuing factory inspection requests to the consultant/client.
Attend factory inspection with Client/Consultant.
Correspondences with the suppliers and consultant.
Arranging for deliveries at site and segregate all shipping documents and test certificates.
Supervision of site work installations and sorting all problems arising.
Issuing RFI for visual inspection of Material received from Manufacturers.
Arranging inspection by consultant and obtaining approval from consultant for the material inspected by consultant.
Preparing RCDR.
Co-ordination for site works.
Conducting Site Acceptance in presence of Client, Consultant and Manufacturer.
Conducting Testing & Commissioning of Pumping Station to the full satisfaction of Client/Consultant as per contract requirement.
Preparation of Testing & Commissioning Plan.
Preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
Preparation of as built drawings.
Handing over of project to client
