Design & Execution of Control low voltage switchgear panels like LV Panels (ABB- ArtuK), MDB, SMDB, DB,
ATS, Capacitor Banks, MCC, VFD & Soft starter Panels, PLC Control Panels, Fan Control Panels, Pump
Control Panels, HVAC Control Panels, Feeder Pillars, Bus bar Risers, etc.
 Coordinating with clients/consultants to understand the drawings and specifications for designing of single
line Diagram(SLD), Protection schemes, General Arrangement, Foundation and Bill of Materials for Low
voltage (LV) switchgear
 Designing of LV breaker and relays control schematics, equipment control schematics, distribution scheme,
circuit diagrams, etc.
 Handling design reviews with Customer’s Engineers, prior to manufacturing and completing project contract
on time.
Issuing drawings (SLD, GA, Schemes, BOM, Wiring Schedule and Fabrication) for manufacturing.
 Obtaining LV Panels approval from KAHRAMA (QGEWC).
 Estimation, Participating in tendering, Estimation, preparing the tendering document
 Visiting Sites & meeting with the client, Contractor, Consultant, etc. discussing about the project
requirements
 Well versed with IEC, BS EN, Qatar Constructions specifications, Kahrama regulations, etc.
 Keeping the pricelist updated for all the breakdown of switchgear panels.
 Contacting other suppliers for those materials which are not in stock.
 Comprehensive knowledge of switchgear, protection, measuring, etc components and its use (ABB, Hager,
Eaton, L&T, Socomec, Alfanar, Intech, Ercon, C&S, Zieglar, SACI, Schneider, Alstom, Meth, etc.)
 Reviewing of new projects with sales/marketing, and interface with customers/ consultants to resolve any
technical design issues in specifications/ drawings.
 Preparing Technical submittal, Operation & Maintenance Manual, Compliance statement, Method of
statement, etc, & all the other technical documents.
 Providing technical support to the Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Testing.
 Doing sales for all Switchgears items.

Designing the various panels for Q-Tech Switchgear W.L.L Doha, Qatar (An Authorized ABB Channel partner
for Electrical Control Panel Manufacturing)
 Designing of LV/MDB, SMDB, DB, APFC, MCC, LCP, Override, etc. panels as per IEC & QCS (Qatar
Construction Specification) regulations.
 MCC Panels designing includes DOL, S/D, VFD, and Soft Starters.
 Designing of panels includes GA, Schematic, Power & Control circuit Diagrams and preparing the BOM for
them. Continuous monitoring for drawing revisions as per Client requirements.
 Preparation of the Submittal for panels containing Project Specifications & Compliances, Drawings, Detail
Catalogues & Type Test Certificates of Proposed Materials, etc.
 Short Circuit Discrimination / Coordination files for power flow in ABB e-design.
 Setting the Time & Current of Circuit Breakers from upstream to downstream for their Overload & Short
Circuit passing Scenario.
 Preparing the Discrimination Reports containing Protection of LV Cables, Circuit Breaker Curves, Time &
Current setting sheet, etc.

Generated estimates and bill of materials from electrical blueprints.
 Handle the tasks of preparing and updating all electrical issues especially on installation to the electrical site
engineer.
 Assigned responsibilities of supporting electrical engineers in installing electrical equipment at different
work stations.
 Maintain the different phases of the project and evaluate all the technical problems and resolve them.
 Prepare Technical documents and ensure that the work was carried in accordance to the drawings and
specifications
Conducting the initial tests and inspections for the electrical items
 Maintain the safety measures on site and ensure that all quality control regulations are met.
 Direct managing and supervision for the electrical work to maintain the performance on jobsite.
