Job Responsibilities
• Identify & developing new re-export markets & distributors.
• Nurturing existing distributor & dealer base.
• Developing relations with key decision makers in target organizations for business development in pre-sales negotiation
• Develop sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly & annual targets
• Monitor monthly sales & stock figures for responsible accounts.
• Determine, implement & monitor price scheme based on import duty, sales tax, delivery charges & relevant export charges
• Lead the selling process & drive the various stages of the overall selling cycle, including planning, ordering, payment, delivery & customer support.
• Provide support to complete sales channel, distributor, dealer & end users.
• Identify dealers to assist distributors in achieving sales targets & increasing installation base.
• Conduct Beta site test for new models. Evaluate & provide feedback.
• Regular field trip to evaluate efficiency of distribution channel.
• Propose & follow up on marketing activities (i.e. Road Shows, Exhibitions) to reach the target.
• Participate in international & regional exhibitions (e.g. Photokina-Germany, GITEX & PhotoWorld-Dubai, Photo & Film and Securex - South Africa, International Electoral Affairs Symposium - Mauritius, Comex-Oman, Photo Mela -Pakistan, ) to launch & promote new products & solutions
• Recruit & train sales engineers.
• Headed the market survey for HiTi operational branch site in South Africa.
• Accounts handled: UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkey, South Africa, Mauritius, Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana & Nigeria.
• Projects
- Working In a consortium with international partners to provide a Voter ID registration solution to Various Election Commission in African countries.
- Previous Project: Voter ID solution for Malawi (US$1.5 million), Ghana (US$ 1.2 million), Angola (US$ 100, 000)
- Current Project: Tanzania voter registration (US$ 10 million).
