Missions or tasks realized.
1) Preparing the emergency response plan and preparedness and conduct mock
drills to handle any potential emergency.
2) Carrying out and assisting in accident or incident investigations as and when
ensures that the contractor and sub-contractor.
3) To guide the project team on fire safety and conduct regular visits to the
project site to check fire safety compliance and fire suppression systems.
4) Providing training on fire prevention, the use of fire extinguishing appliances,
and arrangements to control fire in case of a fire emergency.
5) Conducting site visits, advising contractors and subcontractors on safety
violations, and reporting to the project manager on site-related hazards.
6) Ensuring hot work permits on sites. Filling out safety review checklist on weekly
basis.
7) Ensuring that the work area is as safe as possible to avoid any further loss or
potential hazards.
8) Conducting site HSE inspections and report on non-compliances. Ensuring the
closure report .
9) Carrying out daily inspections and regular assessments, including monitoring
EHS activities and generating risk assessments.
10) Ensuring that all injuries, accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards are
positively and timely reported .
11) Ensuring safety compliance checklists at site.
12) Issuing violation notices on serious non-compliances.
13) Submission of monthly progress on EHS Performance Indicators to HSE lead.
14) Submission of FMS appraisal report and monthly safety committee data.
15) Ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and updating of AKUH construction related
policies and procedures. Ensuring crane lifting activities with LEEA certified companies.
16) Developing and maintaining DCL’s Hazard ID, risk assessments, and EHS KPI’s to
present to management.
17) Working in partnership with supervisors and workers to ensure they maintain compliance
with applicable EHS legislation and making yourself available to address concerns of all
supervisors and workers.
18) Responsible for accident and near miss investigations. This includes filling out the
accident investigation form, keeping track of near miss incidents, and ensuring the first
aid book is filled out.
19) Assisting with site inspections, visits setting up training programs, training for new
employees, creation of new policies or procedures.
20) Preparation and Participating in the COR audit, like JCI and ISO.

2) Preparation of EHS reports on monthly basis as per requirement and immediate
reporting on non-conformities arising from the approved EHS Plan by issuing site notes.
3) Conducting regular EHS training for all workers and initial safety induction /orientation
program for new employees at site.
