As Equipment Manager, oversee in-house maintenance & construction contracts (KOC/KNPC) & external sales within the allocated budget & time frame as per the defined Key Performance Indicators-
• Overall responsibility for the equipment (QTY 300) & vehicles (250) Division
• Caretaker for all equipment & vehicle including internal & external projects / contracts, worth over KWD 5.5 Million
• Prepare monthly / weekly performance reports and organise meetings with senior management
• Assist in recruitment of staff for E&V Dept.
• Ensure meeting operational activities & integrate with the organizational requirements for HSEQ, legal, & statutory requirements and general duty of care
• Keep track of the vehicles and equipment
• Coordinate with Procurement Dept. for leasing equipment and vehicles for projects
• Preparing SOP for new contracts with KNPC/KOC
• Assist Tender / Costing Dept. for external / internal rates for E&V requirements.
• Supervise leasing / renting E&V for on-going and future projects
• Steer annual maintenance / marketing / rental / in-house / external - plans for E&V
• Maintain annual records for staff’s KPI
• Manage third party Inspection for new and on-going projects / contracts
• Drive efforts for diesel supply to all project locations for total 11 projects
• Prepare business plans and forecasting budgets, as required.
• Ensure all budgets and costs for contracts accurately reflect contractual obligations, offer value for money for clients and provide optimum revenue.
• Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with clients, service providers and third parties.
• Foster beneficial partnership by attending monthly review meetings.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key Projects / Contracts / Clients & contractual service delivery requirements.
• Prepare future sales goals along with standard operational procedures for the Dept.
• Handle accidents and insurance.
• Approving Supplier’s invoices for heavy equipment and vehicles
• Approving Comprising sheet for purchasing or leasing Equipment and Vehicles
• Monthly and Weekly Sales Report to Management
Reporting Directly to Country Manager
Responsible for submitting monthly progress reports to Country Manager and CEO for operations and projects department
Managing warehouse requirements with its staff for inbound and outbound inventory
Analyzing the manpower requirements for upcoming sales projects
Recruiting new staff for Logistics and Operations team for new projects
Analyzing areas that require immediate improvement, recommend changes in accordance with realistic divisional and company needs
Responsible for managing the business with the higher management in Dubai and accordingly travelling for meetings
Managing, coordinating and processing import for all retail products
Weekly meetings with Sales and Marketing team to enhance betterment of sales
On time delivery tracking with logistics team and managing the excess load during peak days with the staff
Managing procurement team and finalizing suppliers with marketing team
Solving issues for delay orders with the Customer Services team
Assigning KPI’s to Operations and logistics team and following up for their fulfillment
