Plan and conducts HSE trainings - induction and refresher safety training courses
for all Company personnel, contractors and visitors.
Prepare and update HSE training matrix and annual training plan based on
Client/legal requirement and results of trend analysis.
Deliver in-house Health and Safety Training based on HSE Training Plan.
Conduct assessment based on the provided trainings.
Organize HSE training programs including the date, time, location and duration of
training events.
Maintain HSE training records & register for new and existing employees and
ensure they are updated as required.
Communicate and obtain approval from management for any additional HSE
training requirements at various phases.
Determine HSE training needs for employees and develop best practices for
required trainings.
Improve and adapt existing training programs for delivery and efficiency.
Initiate safety meetings and accurately report details of meetings.
Retrain employees when industry or company best practices are updated.
Order workbooks and additional training materials required for training programs.
Prepare training materials/presentation slides on HSE subjects for all HSE trainings
identified in the training matrix and any project specific HSE trainings.
Coordinate with external training providers for the trainings inside or outside the
company premises.
Administer and control the documentation for training programs and maintains all
training records
• Design, develop and conduct Occupational Safety & Health training programs for trainees and employees of industrial, commercial services or government establishments.
• Develop health and safety training that are based on original and/or existing models.
• Work collaboratively with other Health and Safety trainers and Training Coordinator, and with member leaders in the development and execution of training.
• Design, develop and deliver programs including Short Courses related to OSH.
• Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and evaluation of the effectiveness of such methods.
• Assess training needs and develop strategic implementation and development plans accordingly.
• Selects or develops teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference practical works.
• Lead safety training modules, hands on demonstrations, verification and testing of safe and proper use of equipment and monitoring the effectiveness of the training.
• Develop proficiency in the understanding, use of and maintenance of equipment used in training courses as well as equipment
• Travel to locations, both in and out of the region, including occasional overnight and multi-day sessions.
• Provide thorough evaluation of health and safety training program, curriculum and facilitation.
• In collaboration with program staff, coordinate outreach and registration for trainings
• In collaboration with administrative staff, coordinate logistics and ensure all space, materials and other goods needed for trainings are provided and set-up/taken-down in a timely manner.

Ensure a safe workplace environment
* Ensure that all Health & safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are
regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
* Ensure the contractors meet its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health safety, and
construction procedure at work, including statutory training and reporting.
* Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessment for all work equipment’s and operations.
* ensure that all accidents are investigated, documented and recommended improvements
implemented.
* Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety
inspections, risk assessments, and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware
of their responsibilities.
* Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health &safety matters.
* Arranges for the necessary external training for all staff and provides in-house training;
* Conducting audits against ISO standards’ as internal auditor;
* Investigates and reports on accidents and incidents;
* Coordinates with client/ consultants on safety issues as needed;
