Mainly Responsible for :-
Headed the cash and bank transaction for the company. I managed have a team of 4 (3 in China and 1 in Pakistan), Coordinated and streamlined these transactions and ensured regulatory compliance in order to satisfy internal and external stake holders.
Additionally Cash Journal another sub-module of SAP Finance was smoothly rolled out under my supervision. The module is being used efficiently and effectively, for managing Petty Cash at different locations of Unilever
Also well versed with the General Accounting Module in SAP
-Beside this, I have initiated and completed number of simplification and development projects to handle funds monitoring and accounting e.g total automation of saving bank accounts right from transaction recording to preparation reconciliation

This position reports to the Factory Controller Foods and Commercial Manager Supply Chain Finance bases on Lahore for all functional and operational purposes
Mainly Responsible for :
Provide full support to works manager performing financial evaluations of all the initiatives with post implementation reviews.
Scrutinize factory expenses, verify supports and prepare comparative reports against the budgets. Measure the performance against CTT savings projects
Ensure compliance with the prevalent agreements for third party manufacturing charges through rigorous monitoring of monthly bills received for payment. Further, education of the representative present at the sites about the best practices of controls and the rigor to monitor costs being incurred at the site.
Ensuring correct and timely recording of fixed assets transactions during CWIP phase as well as correct capitalization of the same by keeping close coordination with the factory engineers at the site.
Ensuring adequacy of system checks and adherence to internal controls.
Ensuring compliance to Accounting Policy Manual and SCOA.
Provide location wise reports to supply chain team at all sites for monthly stock taking, comparison of stock check numbers with numbers input in the system for any errors and review of monthly cycle counts results for any abnormality.
Providing extensive support to Factory Supply Chain team and Business Finance team, especially in budgeting, actual expense monitoring, wastage control, inventory monitoring, internal controls, asset counts and physical verification.
Facilitate the quarterly stock check at all the sites
- Forex Rate negotiation with panel Banks
- Negotiation and Arrangement of Foreign currency for UPL Employee for their official traveling.
- Working and arrangement of Bank guarantee for different corporate projects.
- Daily Cash Flow Management
- Monitoring and Assisting Bank Reconciliation on daily basis
- Responsible of all foreign outward and inward remittances till from processing and accounting in General Ledger
- Responsible of all Export proceed till from processing and accounting in General Ledger
- Provide provision for Bank Charges on the basis of sales collection.
- Arranging funds in different Banks for heavy amount of payment of imports
- Daily updating exchange rate from Bank
- Foreign Currency arrangement.
- Consolidation of Working Capital & analysis for management reporting.
- Preparation of Operational Cash Flow for submission to regional reporting
- Maintenance of fixed assets & consolidation of monthly depreciation charge.

- Ensuring back office controls through independent
confirmation of Forward Cover rate negotiated by Treasury to
banks.
- Recognition of Import liabilities at the time of acceptance of
L/C .
- Accounting and transfer of Import cost to relevant factories.
- Review of over / under utilization of Forward Covers booked.
- Preparation of various MIS reports for Imports related General
Ledger accounts.
- Booking of weekly returns sent by branches in General Ledger
- Preparation of monthly Cash / Bank balance reconciliation of
branches
