Below are the key roles and responsibilities I am currently performing for the current empl oyer.
* Development and Design of the enhancements required in the iSkyNet application, Websites,
and Interfaces requested from the SkyNet stations, and customers across the world.
* In addition to the development, managing a team of four people to maintain, support, and
enhance the iSkyNet system developed and deployed at more than 200 SkyNet offices.
Reviewing the software code to ensure the quality, testing the newly implemented features to
ensure the system integrity.
* Developed and designed SkyNet interface with Canada Customs to submit the shipment details
for quick and easy customs clearance for all the shipment going to Canada through SkyNet
Network.
* As the E-Commerce business is growing immensely across the world, I have developed and
designed a web-service based on WCF Framework which acts as an E-Commerce solution for
SkyNet. This web-service enables them to integrate easily with any E-Commerce customer to
fulfill their shipping needs.
* Requirements gathering for all the new features request, Integration requests, not only from
the stations but also from the SkyNet customers. Ensuring that the suggested solution is
developed and implemented as agreed with the customer.
* Maintaining the iSkyNet software database structure to ensure the integrity of all the interfaces
that the company has with the partners across the globe, controlling all the database design
level changes if required for any new requirement.
* Meeting with SkyNet customers to discuss and analyze the possible ways of integrating their
systems with SkyNet system. Providing the technical details of pre-existing solutions that we
can offer, or analyzing the need of a customized interface in case that is required.
* Reporting to the management about the progress on the recent developments and
enhancements done by the team on weekly bases.
* Currently working on integration of the SkyNet system with Dubai Customs to improve the
shipments clearance process for all the shipments coming to UAE through the SkyNet Network.
* Integrated the SkyNet system with many well-known courier like FEDEX, DHL, UPS, TNT,
Purolator, and many others, for manifest submission and tracking details.
* Designed and developed a business intelligence tool for the company using which the user can
define any type of report that they want to see from the system.
as a key member of the team of three resources, developed iSkyNet software for the company
to fulfill the operational needs. The software has all the facilities to support all the operational needs of
a courier company.
* Implementation of iSkyNet worldwide was one of the biggest achievements for our team, we
have put immense efforts to complete this task, and to bring this application to such a level
that it can be used by the whole SkyNet network.
* The iSkyNet application is now the core application being used by more than 200 stations around
the world, and our team has provided support to all the stations through remote access, for
configuring the server and clients for each station.
* Several websites have been developed and maintained by SkyNet IT team, major websites are
as follows. www.skynetwwe.info, www.skynetworldwide.net, www.gulfworldwideexpress.com.
* iSkyNet application is just used by the stations staff to perform their daily tasks but at the
backend of iSkyNet application there are several application that have to work in order to
complete the cycle of circulating information from one station to the other.

* Developed a Smart-Client, Multi-threaded, Distributed, web service based desktop
Application. Phoenix (Decision Support System). The purpose of this application is to fulfill
the reporting requirements of the External clients of the company like Nokia, Siemens, and
Telenor and the internal clients like the warehouse staff members and the senior management.

* Developed a distributed web application SFA for the Sales Force Automation of the Company,
to keep records of the sales efforts made by the sales staff. This application was developed
using ASP.NET with the back end of VB.Net. This application was developed for the company’s
internal clients (Sister concerns), and for its own use.
