I joined the company as management assistant where I provided administrative support to the finance team i.e. payment processing, posting of transactions in financial information system, fixed asset management, payroll processing and assisted in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and other finance-related tasks. After three years, I was transferred to budgeting & reporting section and worked from associate to lead level, where I was reporting to manager accounts & finance and responsible to lead the budgeting system, financial reporting system, including a finance dashboard and various management reporting requirements. I handled tax management, and managed internal controls and audits. I also assisted in conducting board meetings and ensure compliance with the Securities & Exchange Commission. During the tenure, my key achievements were:
• Earn four promotions from Management Assistant to Associate to Assistant Manager to Lead
• Developed an interactive dashboard report to track KPIs and identify performance lags
• Developed the first budget book, which highlights assumptions and explains the budget
• Generated a HR budget template that enables the creation of HR analytics and info-graphics
• Revamped chart of accounts to reduce the number of GLs by 70%
• Effective management of audits conducted by Big-4 Audit firms
