JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities are (1) providing technical support and guidance / act as a Subject Matter Expert on Materials, Mechanical and Integrity (MMI) area and Process Automation and Controls (PACO) area (2) Provide assurance to the Shell group thru conducting technical reviews and audits (3) Provide coaching and mentoring for the development to young Engineers

» Providing technical support to the Regional Engineering Organization as a Technical Authority in Material, Mechanical and Integrity (MMI TA-2)domain.
» Participate in Incident Investigations
» Conduct Technical and Process Safety Audits and Reviews » Coordination with technical bodies within and outside Shell to table and resolve technical and process safety related matters
» Develop and access new TA-3 Engineers
» Provide technical support to streamline Ops/Engg and HSSE/Engg interface.
» Lead and embed Process Safety culture and practices by example and implement the
» Provide input to operationalize the technical standards into fit for purpose actions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (Global scope extending from NA to EU and East)
» Custodian of Shell Inspection & Maintenance Practices and Shell Engineering Guidelines
» Providing input for updating Distribution Engineering Practices (DEPs) to incorporate Shell best practices from TSTGs
» Develop & implement “Reliability & Integrity Accreditation prog” for Global Terminal Ops audience to bring them to a minimum acceptable competency level
» Support Global Integrity Programs such as Tank and Pipeline Risk Based Inspections (RBIs)
» Lead Asset Management System (AMS) Effectiveness Reviews for NA, EU and East regions
» Participate in various global self assurance programs like I&M review, AMS review and AI-PSM review across all regions
» Setting criterions for Safety Critical Inspections and Design Base Finalization for Shell Distribution Terminals
» Lead implementation of pipeline leak detection system for the first time in Shell PK
» Pilot study to transfer Global R&I plans into GSAP and exploring the possibilities to expand GSAP usage for other key indicators like HEMP eqmnts, SC inspections etc.
» Conducting AMS refreshers for local OUs, where required.

» Capex program delivery and multiyear capex planning for Pakistan, Oman and UAE
» Process safety reviews, Technical audits, SIL studies, PHSER, HAZOP & HEMP studies
» Project execution ensuring Shell Process Safety, Shell DEPs and Shell Project Management standard (DPEG)
» Project closures, Change Management and issuance of Statement of Fitness and Pre-Commissioning Review
» Technical scoping, Technical bid evaluation, Tendering, Negotiation and Market Strategy for projects.
» Stakeholder management (Business Development, Procurement Team, Senior Management, Consultants, Contractor)
» Technical support to Facilities Engineers, Reliability Engineers and Operations
» Project handling in SAP and issuance of progress reports inclusive of S-curve, Time, Cost, Objective and HSE

» Construction of 4no 10KT Tanks
» Construction, modifications, integrity inspections, maintenance and repairs of pipelines and tanks
» Implementations of Benzene Reduction and Life Safety projects
» Installation and maintenance of pumps, flow meters, tank radars, overfill systems, fire systems & loading arms etc.
» Construction of perimeter walls, roads, hard standings, office blocks, staff rest facilities, laboratories, filling/receipt gantries, warehouses, drainage systems, pump houses, unloading platforms etc.

» Preparation of capex and opex budgets, T&R spending plans, cost tracking reports, progress reports
» Participation in brainstorming sessions with Operations and Engineering to develop fit for purpose scope for projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
» Preventive, breakdown and risk based maintenance and inspections of retail outlets while achieving the KPI's of HSSE, operational excellence, cost, product quality, customer satisfaction and environment.
» Management of call log system and routing complaint handling.
» Start up / commissioning of new outlets. This includes document control and physical asset verification
» Management of direct reports (3 subordinates and various civil, mechanical and electrical contractors of the region)
» Coordination with concerned government agencies and explosive department for various permissions and permits
» Environmental assessment and remediation as per NEQS and Global Environmental Management Standards (Shell's internal standard)
