Responsible for planning, analysis, design, implementation, programming and support of the Motorola Two way radio network/wireless network infrastructure and related equipment.
Supporting implementation activities of the base station and control room equipment installed on sites.
Performs initialization, commission and integration of base stations, dispatcher work stations, end user terminals and other control room equipment and systems installed.
Performs equipment tests and attended the acceptance process.
Completing required checklists and associated documentation of acceptance processes.
Interface with installation teams as required to optimize installation processes.
Interface with Quality Management to ensure all requirements of acceptance are achieved.
Interface with Operations teams to ensure a seamless transfer of sites is achieved once commissioning activities are complete.
Supervise TETRA infrastructure deployment to the site and installation activity to meet project schedules and deadlines.
Coordination with peer construction entities. (Transmission, civil, electrical, or architectural groups).
Perform Testing & Commissioning of MTS-4.
Responsible for Testing & Commissioning of Rectifier System Netsure 7100.
Check the VSWR using site master.
Perform site survey, testing, final inspection and commissioning for new projects.
Provide expert advice and participate in troubleshooting of difficult problems of telecom systems and support major breakdown.
Provide support for maintenance and testing function for all associated equipment, software and telecom systems, and liaise with vendors on maintenance requirements and upgrades.
Provides key input to the telecommunication planning & design groups for projects scope development, on the performance of current systems, and integration of existing telecom systems and the design of new systems.
Diagnose configuration settings and perform physical check for carrier equipment.
Prepare accountability & level of operation indicators report.
Continually research new technologies and provide expert advice to improve reliability, security, and performance of two-way radio systems.
Understanding of Tetra/Astro25 system features including but not limited to network transport, network management, fault management, consoles, RF sites, and data.

FTTH Installation:

•Testing, Splicing, Jointing, Indoor and outdoor cabling and ODF/ODB commissioning in subscriber’s premises with Huawei ONT’s System.
•Testing & jointing, Termination, laying and installation of indoor/ outdoor fiber network for GPON.
•Represent Trans Telecoms Engineering Department at internal and technical project meetings.
•Responsible for installation of instrument cables and communication cables and there devices.
•Responsible for review the telecommunication drawing before submit to client and ensuring the designs are made as per scope of work and RC standards.
•Responsible for preparation of Bill of quantity and material requisition after taking approval from client.
•Daily site visit and giving instructions and targets to site supervisor.
•Responsible for preparation of progress measurement report and daily updating it and submitted to management.
•Solving the conflicts and discrepancies in between Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Civil & Electrical.
•Estimating material quantity, and preparing look-ahead schedule for the material requirement.
•Execution of project as per planned schedule.
•Coordinating with the Supervisors and general foreman, building foreman at the time of Installation, commissioning & testing.
•Proficient in using fiber optics tools -Power Meter and Splicing Machine.

Operation & Maintenance:

•Diagnosed the various technical problems in the cables and resolved it.
•Optical fiber cable jointing.
•Troubleshooting of fibers.
•Maintained the networks, spliced and terminated the fibers as per requirement.

Record Entry:

•Data Entry for working customers in a specified Customer care Module.
•Upgrading MS excel sheet for Transmission department.

Responsible for Installation and Fault repair of Leased Line and Broadband.
•Installation and configure routers & switches.
•Solving the tickets based on SLA (Service Level Agreement).
•Coordinate with Backend team for activation.
•Follow-up from NOC, ISP team for backend related problem resolution.
•Responsible for proper documentation of Broadband and Leased line installation.
•Follow-up from UGCM, technician for copper related problems.
•Responsible for attending Outage activities for any NOC related activities.
