Responsible for hiring of contractors as per the nature of job. Leading and controlling the procurement of direct/indirect consumables, tools, machinery and spare parts and services.
Evaluation of bids, pre-bid meetings and negotiations on contract terms and conditions.
Analyze & verify RFQ with respect to BOQ/ BOM and services requirement for further publishing.
Prepare commercial & technical CST for review of procurement committee. Prepare price revision requests to consultant/ vendors by analyzing purchase history, inflation, exchange rates, material and overhead costs. Conduct commercial and technical negotiation meeting with vendor/ contractor for clarity & understanding of jobs or services. Verify the taxation and prepare Contract/Agreement for the services. Supervise the team for maintaining POs, RFQ, and Contracts& LOI in SAP.
Assisting Manager Supply Chain in high value & high-risk contracts, KPI's reporting and monitoring of all procurement activities (material and services). Building relationships with existing suppliers and exploring new vendors through approved supplier selection processed.
Process/ validate the invoices of contractors for further processing with Finance dept.
• Monitor inventory over 2000 CBM with more than 500 articles.
• Ability to identify problems & generate solutions in a fast paced environment
• Expert in inventory management, record keeping, warehousing and efficient stacking with SOPs.
• Coordinate with the procurement, NFA and PO tracking.
• Responsible to schedule deliveries and assigned task to be done in committed KPIs.
• Cost Management and provide aging report of equipment to the management which supports procurement and engineering/product department to acquisition or disposal.
• Lead/ Liaison with 3PL provider like Agility Logistics & Expeditors International for distribution of Wateen material and lead them for the continuous process of improvement to achieve systematic reports.
• Reconcile procedure to ensure inventory balances in ERP and Excel inventory sheets.
• Connection with customer response team to provide quick resolution of inventory.
• Provide support to the Manager's and participate as a member of this team, as required.
• Use to be inventory audit coordinator (stock Take) with external auditor, and finishes task efficiently and successfully on half yearly basis.
• Coordinating with 2PL services provider for client consignments clearing and moving them for warehousing.
• Documents handling including custom documents and Shipping documents like MAWB/ Bill of lading and delivery order.
• Liaison with procurement department of MOTOROLA Pakistan.
• For Inbound Process: Make necessary arrangement of machineries (for heavy equipment), labor and evaluation of area for upcoming consignments. Having followed up with the shipper/ 2PL provider wherever involved.
• For Outbound Process: To lead and assure the safe and sound supply chain of the Telecom Equipment to the other stations as per need of the client, via road, rail or by air. Consolidate RnR shipments too for RMA.
• Coordinating with the relevant departments via electronic media.
• Supervision of the Warehouse’s inventory team (WMS) and responsible for stacking of equipment in their desired manners to ensure the full utilization of space in efficient manner.
• Also manage the repacking of return logistics for RnR shipments of NSN and Motorola.
• Making arrangements of shifting the Sites and other Telecom Equipment from Warehouse to the assigned sites. Supervising in the preparation of shipping documents such as Invoices, packing lists, etc.
• Budget management of TAQ-Motorola warehouse and Finance control of TAQ-NSN warehouse.
• Development and management of Software system for customer
• Designing module and debugging.
• Using the tool of Visual Basic and SQL server for database management
• Report designing for system using Crystal Report.
