Duties Include: - Handle the Special Printing of all Bank Formats; this includes but not limited to Envelopes, Letter Heads, Customer Information Cards, Cash & Cheque Deposit Slips, Compliment Cards, Desk Memos … etc. Coordinate with Purchases Section to issue the necessary LPO and ensure Terms of delivery matches with Departments and Branches requirements. Obtain PPPD approval to proceed with printing after ensuring forms has all documents required. Daily follow up with the Printing Press to ensure distribution deadlines for the relevant printings are respected to avoid delays.
- Handle the printing of Special Cheques of NBAD Customers; this includes but not limited to VIP Customers and Companies. Obtain PPPD approval to proceed with printing after ensuring that Cheques have all security features and complies with Central Bank regulations, Coordinate with Purchases Section to issue the necessary LPO and ensure Terms of delivery matches with customer’s requirements. Daily follow up with the Printing Press to ensure prompt service and timely deliveries.
- Handle the printing of all NBAD Store Items; this includes but not limited to all H.O. Sizes Envelopes, all kinds of Forms, Applications, Slips, Registers, Vouchers and Terms & Conditions for Operations of Accounts etc… Coordinate with Store staffs re quality to be ordered. Ensure issuance of LPO, obtain approvals from PPPD, concerned Dept. and follow up with the printers to ensure that the distribution deadlines for the relevant documents are respected to avoid delays.
- Correct grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and factual inaccuracies for all the Store Items before giving the final approval for the Printing Press to go ahead by printing.
- Handle the Printing Process of Business Cards for all NBAD members; this includes Chief Executives, Senior General Manager and all eligible Staffs. The process involves direct contact and coordination with Human Resources to ensure correctness of Title as per records, and with Corporate Communication Department to apply NBAD visual Guidelines. Direct contact with concerned staff and the printing press to ensure all information are accurate and correctly reflected in the business cards. Daily follow up with Printing Press to ensure that the distribution deadlines for the business cards are respected to avoid delays.
- Proof Reader for all Bank’s Format, Business Cards, documents, Cheques, Special Printing and Store Items. Gives attention to details and a critical eye to note errors, correct them and ensure accuracy and completeness. Liaise and coordinate with concerned Printing Press throughout the course of the job being run to ensure accurate and readable final texts.
- Handle the Administration work for Translation & Printing Section; this includes the electronic archiving of all materials to ensure easy retrieve of any document, typing of translated texts in both languages (Arabic & English). Coordinate with the Translators to ensure the translated versions of documents are consistent with the original texts by carefully comparing both versions. Follow up with them that job is done and sent to the right department/ branch.
- Replace Administration Officer during annual / sick leaves.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Line Manger or the Head of Department.
