Major responsibilities are :
- Catalog approved requests for new items into site and/or the regional catalog(s) in line with Company Global Data standards and the level of critical analysis required to maintain consistency of data and minimize duplication.
- Ensure accurate inventory codification of items, and review and reclassify items as required.
- Analyze and research existing item data for item record improvement, and elimination of duplication when appropriate.
- Liaise with all stores & purchasing departments for effective cataloging system.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers in gathering item data and specifications.
- Work with relevant departments to identify Criticality and Classification of Inventory.
- Provide training to personnel on processes or procedures linked to the catalog function, when appropriate.
- Develop trends or patterns in items cataloged, to identify types of items or activities taking place that may require specific strategies or planning to support.
- Liaise with Drilling & Maintenance departments to ensure current and correct classification.
- Running Inventory Clean-up project with the implementation of the Company Global common catalog.
- Participating in the development of Company Global cataloging standards and procedures.

Purchasing & Logistics Officer في Supply Force International

- Forward plan most commonly used items for regular shipments, reducing shipping costs and increasing availability of items on-site.
- To build up relationships with key suppliers covering most of the products used.

- Coordinate with freight forwarders for timely delivery of goods at respective sites.

Major Procurement responsibilities were :
- Supervise, lead and manage local employees in the department which includes stores, stock management and purchasing functions.
- Responsible to generate Requisitions, Purchase Orders, receiving of goods etc in ACCPAC (Commercial Software).
- Ensure effective use of the Purchasing system to ensure efficiency in use and effective and timely reporting in accordance with the reporting timetable
- Provide local training and development in stores and purchasing procedures and systems to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage the stock cataloging system to ensure effective use within the Purchasing system and accurate stock levels
- Train & supervise local appointees/employees in stores, stock management and logistics functions.
- In conjunction with line management, implement agreed stock levels in each business and report on balances in accordance with the reporting timetable
- Co-ordinate and undertake stock-takes at all sites on at least a quarterly basis
- Ensure all importation duties are approved where appropriate and in accordance with statutory requirements
- Ensure every asset is tagged in accordance with the “Asset procedure”
Major Logistics responsibilities were:
- Manage logistical matters to ensure that goods are received in accordance with agreed purchasing approvals
- Develop policies for approval to provide efficient delivery of stock to customers
- Liaise with overseas suppliers to resolve supply and logistics issues.
- Liaise with transport and freight providers.
- Ensure freight providers and transport companies comply with their costs structure
- Review and propose alternative cost structure for transport and freight providers
- Monitor service provider service levels to ensure compliance
- Ensure supplies are delivered to the business in accordance with the agreed timeframe and costing schedule
- Ensure all freight invoices are approved by the Country Managers to ensure cost effectiveness of customs process
- Communicate reports on a weekly basis to update management on shipment status (back order reports)
- Co-ordinate with the Country Managers to attain the best level of performance for the division.

Supply Chain / Logistics Supervisor في Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited

Major responsibilities were :
- Distribution Section: Supervision of all distribution related functions like, Coordination with Transporters & Handling Contractors. Variable Expenses, Freight Expenses & Shipment Reconciliation, Orders generation & Detailing. Order Servicing Analysis, Product Quality Complaint follow up, Monthly Shipment Analysis, Truckers Performances. In addition, also responsible for the preparation of Variable Freight Budget and also developed Distribution Manual.
- Raw Material Section: Management / Supervision of Raw Materials required for Zarkhez Production, Custody Transfer of Raw Material to Production Section. Concerns of RMBS & open yard, Material related issues, Demand generation of Local Material, RMBS & open yard, Safety concerns, Performance appraisals of all Operators, Tab Run Control / Reconciliation. Assistance in RM Imported/Local recycling. Quarterly Accruals etc.
- Material Warehouse Section: Management of all activities like Inventory Control Management Process. Material Ordering / Reordering, Receiving & Issuance Functions. Local & Foreign Purchase, Inventory Replenishment & Inventory Reconciliation. Inventory Management System (IMS).
- Safety & Training In above of all, Safety & Training of all employees working under section is one of my major responsibilities. I have developed Sections SOPs (Procedures) as per DUPONT Standards. Procedure development of all PSMs & PSRMs elements aligned with DUPONT. Training of all PSMs and PSRM elements to all personnel. Conduct Management Safety Audit (MSA) on routine basis. Supervision and control of all safety related issues and their resolution. Pioneer of Employees Motivation and Star Program. Developed Unit safety Plan of own Section. Developed Standing Order Manual, Job Cycle Check Procedure and much more.

Stock Transaction Reports, Daily/Monthly/Yearly Shipment & Inventory Statement, Coordination with Transporters & Handling Contractors, Daily Position Report, Daily Shipment Report, Variable Expenses, Freight Expenses, Orders Servicing Analysis, Product Quality Complaint follow up, Budget Analysis, Truckers Performances and Smooth & Safe Operation in Area.
