Design layout arrangements for internal office moves/changes and coordinating within the facilities department to implement requested changes
Coordinate and supervise the move of over 400 employees to new head office in location
Oversee purchase and ordering of new office furniture for the new premises by coordinating between the architectural consultants and multiple furniture suppliers
Create an office handbook including new policies and procedure by liaising between various business units at Alghanim and the HR department
Identify and prioritize key opportunities for improvement across the facilities department by using Operational Excellence methodologies
- Evaluated and updated the On-boarding process while also creating relevant literature for candidates regarding policy and procedure on visa and residency requirements
- Liaised with the Company’s Governments Services department while assisting new employees throughout the residency process, such as being their first point of contact, maintaining regular contact, and advising on attestation of documents, driving license, dependent residencies, schooling and housing
- Coordinated with key stakeholders within the businesses, keeping them fully informed with regular status updates to ensure seamless integration of candidates into the Alghanim community
- Utilized my ability to multi-task effectively, working well under pressure while meeting tight and changing deadlines, while also understanding and managing the sensitivities of different stakeholders at different levels
- Designed and supervised displays, stands and panels throughout the showrooms including sourcing elements such as lighting, props and accessories
- Arranged units and accessories within showrooms in order to create successful point-of-sale displays
- Liaised with different departments to design and create window displays of key merchandise within the store
- Handled a variety of tasks and projects ensuring deadlines were met and stayed within budget
- Worked along side the Senior Interior Designer on small residential and commercial projects
- Responsible for choosing paint colours, lighting, window coverings, furniture and flooring as well as artwork, pillows, rugs and other accessories
- Liaised between outsourced maintenance/construction companies and the designer to ensure projects were completed on time and within budget
- Communicated NBK’s promotional rewards program to all clients with credit cards by creating different marketing and advertising channels such as flyers, newsletters, banners, in order to highlight existing discounts and monthly promotions
- Coordinated special events around quarterly promotions to create a ‘buzz’ and build brand loyalty, while building strong relationships with NBK’s local partner companies
- Educated potential and existing clients about NBK’s rewards program and benefits
