Manager, Compensation & Employee Relations (Jan 2013 onwards)

Recruited to manage all Human Capital services with focus on performance management and compensation and benefits to ensure compliance with Malomatia’s set policies and procedures, leading practices and management requirements.

Key Results
• Review, augment & establish organizational policies & procedures including the entire Remuneration Structure of the organisation.
• Undertake novel initiatives to retain the pool of talent within the organisation and curb attrition.
• Recruit rare talents for multimillion dollar projects on short term contracts and formulate attractive remuneration packages to retain them with the organisation and enhance their performance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Device & implement numerous incentive plans to enhance employee commitment to the organisation & provide continuous motivation to optimize their productivity.
• Key role in the development and implementation of Human Capital strategy.
• Significant contribution in developing a pro-active staff communications culture through the enhancement of Human Capital processes and systems to ensure that all employees are fully aware of Human Capital objectives, policies and procedures.
• Provide and successfully implement series of Human Capital programs and policies to support business growth and drive organizational performance.
• Ensure all policies and activities undertaken comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards in the countries where Malomatia operates.
• Provide support through a wide range of human capital functions relating to compensation and benefits, counseling and performance management, employment relations and legislation, program/ project implementation, communication etc.

Head of HR (Strategy, Compensation & Benefits)
• Led a team of HR Policies analysts & specialists, compensation and reward management, workforce planning, etc. to ensure effective achievement of functional objectives and organizational goals.
• Key role in formulation and implementation of the HR strategies & policies in line with the organization’s objectives, vision & mission.
• Developed the Reward Strategy related to salaries, allowances, incentives, fixed and variable bonuses in order to ensure consistency and equity of Reward practice within the company.
• Oversaw and reviewed up gradations made by the HRIS analyst on system enhancements to ensure that all the HR processes are streamlined with the organization’s objectives. Further this process also provides accurate information for facilitating quick & critical decision making by the management.
• Worked in close collaboration with Group Chiefs and Department Managers in forecasting manpower budgets and organizing / revising human resource.
• Ensured successful and proactive implementation of HR and corporate policies by facilitating senior management buy-in and ensuring that management awareness and staff communication processes are in place.
• Reviewed HR policies and procedures and proposed enhancement recommendations based on accurate research and analysis.
• Conducted Job Analysis and Job Evaluation exercise. Ensuring all the jobs are evaluated, following a consistent approach / methodology across the organization to ensure fair job sizing and grade.
• Developed and conducted in depth statistical analysis and modeling scenarios to forecast plan cost and compensation delivery.
• Participated in regional Total Remuneration Survey and presented findings and recommendations to the Senior Management to ensure internal consistency and external competitiveness.
• Assisted the HR Manager in developing the departmental budget and monitor financial performance to help forecast anticipated costs, identify areas of unsatisfactory performance and capitalized upon potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities.

Recruitment Supervisor & HR Information Systems Analyst
• Developed & established recruitment strategies and processes while managing recruitment services for the organization.
• Organized & managed several overseas recruitment trips with Department Managers, to maximize recruitment results.
• Streamlined, optimized and enhanced SAP HR Information system, organization wide.
• Developed/enhanced several complex reports, modules, info-types and system configurations on SAP.
