Was the Highest Scorer in International Managerial Accounting Module from Heriot Watt's Dubai Campus. Successfully Completed my MSc Degree with honors of First Class. Was awarded an 'A' grade for my Masters Dissertation. Dissertation Title: " Does Corporate Social Responsibility Affect Corporation's Financial Performance- The Case of Bangladesh" I was looking at it from an critical accounting point of view using the theories of legitimacy and institutional theory. I used the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines for measuring CSR Score for Bangladeshi Corporations. My research comes up with new findings from a developing country like Bangladesh. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that the research project not just test the causality between Total CSR Score and Accounting measures such as ROE and ROA. But it looks deeper into the 6 components like (Economic , Environmental, Human Rights, Labor Practices, Product Safety & Society Disclosures) of CSR in Annual Reports, Press Releases or Websites and their individual impact on Corporation's Profitability. The idea was to explore Bangladeshi firms' perception of 'CSR' and importance is attached to it, that is whether they are fully committed and implement it at strategic level or do they use it as a philanthropic tool to influence investors for improving reputation and profitability. I used a mixed method research methodology which included quantitative methods of accounting ratios and regression analysis as well as qualitative in-depth interviews with managers in Bangladesh Currently I am working with the Head of Accounting and Finance Departments for the publication of my Masters Thesis in Academic Journals. It shall be out in the next few months.

BBA (3 years ordinary degree), Hons Degree (1 year) BBA- Stood 3rd in the final examination. Received an Honory Distinction Hons Degree- awarded with Second class (Upper division) Degree Nominated for the award of best student in the BBA Batch of 2010 Received merit based scholarship for Hons degree. Dissertation Project For Hons: “Impact of In store Music on Shoppers’ Mood and Shopping Experience” Received a Higher B Grade for the research work undertaken. The topic undertaken was quite interesting, while the analysis required a qualitative data collection method So I conducted useful Focus group interview sessions with different university students and also met with 2 of the Marketing Retailer Heads from New look & Centrepoint in Jebel Ali. The one to one interviews not only helped me to gain valuable information for the research work but it also helped my self-confidence and communication skills. It was a wonderful experience to know the how about that goes behind the selection of music played in the Fashion stores here in Dubai. Completed 2 years associate degree in BBA American College Of Dubai. Received Dean’s Letter for Getting a GPA of 3.7 after the completion of the degree.
