• Ensure use of third party testes, assembled, marked and color coded lifting tackles of adequate strength is used.
• Implementing PTW system according to ISO 18000 and 14001.
• Investigation of accident/ incident and prepare report.
• Responsible for the strict implementation of company’s safety policies and procedures.
• Inspecting various site facilities observing operations and activities, investigating health and safety complaints and ensuring that all work areas, are in compliance with safety legislation.
• Coordinates and consults with departmental heads regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and recommend corrective actions for any safety violation noted.
• Organise and convene safety training courses, including classroom lectures, demonstrations and hands-on instructions.
• Review accidents and contraventions; and compile recommendations for future prevention.
• Ensure that facilities comply with all environmental regulations, regarding hazardous substance handling and disposal.
• Coordinate and implement emergency procedures, fire fighting policy and first aid facility allocation.
• Plans and supervises the regular inspection and testing of all fixed fire fighting equipment.
• Conduct monthly safety meeting with Senior management team.
• Conduct Safety Orientation to new juveniles.
• Effective Implementation of Safety Management System.
• Prepare/ review Task Specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all organizational activities.
• Advice the line management personnel in displaying the relevant cautionary instructions, signs, and symbols in the prominent places.
• Prepare the emergency response procedures suitable to the various activities of the Company and the surrounding areas.
• Scheduling Tool Box Talks and monitoring.
• Monitoring and reviewing of COSHH Assessment.

• Preparing Project / Trading Business Health & Safety Plan, Lifting Operations Plan, Fire & Emergency Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Waste Management Plan and Environmental Plan.
• Assist the concerned Supervisors / Managers to prepare Risk Assessment and Method Statement.
• Advise the management about disposal of waste materials as per local rules.
• Preparing Daily and Monthly HSE reports and submit on IMPACT.
• Assist the investigation team of accidents, incidents, near misses and advice the management and other employees on learning points.
• Plan and supervises the regular inspection and testing of all fixed fire fighting equipment with monitoring of emergency evacuation.
• Conduct periodical inspection of vehicles, equipment, tools, & tackles etc.; monitor the action points at the work site and render necessary guidance to Engineers / Supervisors / Workers during the site inspection.
• Conduct Weekly / Monthly Safety meetings and Workers’ Committee Meeting and participate in the Client’s / Consultant’s HSE Meetings.
• To Plan and conduct HSE induction training for all new entrants, and other In-house HSE training programs on the need basis.
• Scheduling Tool Box Talks and monitoring.
• Deliver Training on Health and Safety related subjects to staff and operatives.
• Monitoring and reviewing of COSHH Assessment.
• Monitoring Permit to Work System; Confined Space; lifting Operations, and SSOW.
• Inspection of Scaffolding, Lifting Equipment and tackles, Power tools & Pneumatic tools etc
