• Reviewing of Design/IFC drawings, specification
to ensure that installation and operation
confirms to codes, standards & Project Quality
plan and construction work procedures.
• Reviewing of mechanical submittals including
vendors, shop drawings and mechanical layout
drawings, mechanical reports and specifications
for compliance with the Contract requirements
and design intent and Coordinating with other
disciplines during the design stage.
• Review the Mechanical drawings reports,
specification submitted by the Design
Consultants at each stage of the Design to ensure
completeness, correctness, compliance with the
scope of work and agreements requirements.
• Carry out a constructability review during the
Design stages.
•Review on time, the Design Consultant submittals
and forward comments to the Engineering
Manager.
• Ensure the Design Consultant incorporates the
comments raised from previous stages.
•Attend Technical meetings with the Design
Consultant and other Sub- Consultants,
Contractors and Client Team.
•Review Contractor/Consultant’s proposed design
organizations and related CV’s and report to the
Engineering Manager on his findings.
•Coordinate with PMC’s Document Controller and
PMC QA/QC Manager / Engineer to ensure that
all documents related to his discipline are
properly controlled.
•Review the alternatives to the Design concept
submitted by the Design Consultant, prepare and
submit a report including recommendations to
the Design Manager / Engineering Manager
highlighting advantages and disadvantages of
each alternative.
• Review the materials proposed by the Design
Consultant and propose alternatives to improve
the quality, future maintenance, safety and cost-
effectiveness.
•Review the change requests/ variations
submitted by the Design Consultant.

•Perform quality control inspections on
mechanical installations, equipment, and systems
to ensure compliance with project specifications,
codes, and standards.
• Conduct regular audits of mechanical work
processes to identify areas for improvement and
ensure adherence to quality procedures and best
practices.
•Collaborate with project managers, engineers,
and contractors to develop and implement
quality control plans and procedures specific to
mechanical works.
•Review mechanical design drawings,
specifications, and technical documentation to
ensure accuracy and compliance with industry
standards.
•Conduct pre-inspection meetings with
contractors and other stakeholders to
communicate quality control requirements and
expectations.
•Monitor the installation and testing of mechanical
systems to ensure compliance with approved
plans and specifications.
•Perform inspections and tests on mechanical
equipment, materials, and components to verify
their compliance with applicable standards and
specifications.

• 8 years’ experience in overseeing the design,
development, and implementation with
leadership experience in an EPC, Infrastructure or
related industry encompassing activities
associated with engineering, procurement, and
construction of critical products, projects, or
services.
•Demonstrated experience with design controls,
design verification and validation activities,
process controls, construction or start-up
activities, and risk management.
•Experience working in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication
skills to motivate a large employee community.
• Good knowledge of Project Quality Management
System and ISO 9001 certified.
•Monitor the ongoing installation of Mechanical
works as per project specifications SMACNA,
ASHRAE, UPC, IPC & NFPA codes and instruct
the contractor to make corrections as necessary
to improve the finish of installed works.
• Provide complete technical support on the
detailed designs of various pipe lines associated
with water related projects which include potable
water network, fire and irrigation water network,
waste water collection systems.
• Monitor the ongoing installation of Infrastructure
Mechanical Works: Sewage waste water
Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis Plant, Lift
Stations and Pumping Stations.
• Preparation of Technical Specifications and
Material Specifications for the Potable and Non-
Potable water, Sewer, Fire Fighting, irrigation
pipelines, STP, RO plant and Pumping stations.
• Follow the ITPs, PQP’S, MOS, oversee and
witness all testing methods, and maintain high-
quality standards for all processes.

•Preparing and reviewing Engineering plans,
specifications, project schedules, designs.
•Responsible to ensure the correct
implementation of the project quality plan and
quality procedures and productivity related to all
Mechanical works in accordance with the
program of work on site. Estimation, Tendering &
Preparation of BOQ.
•Heating/ Cooling Load Calculations following
Carrier E-20, ASHRAE/ ISHRAE handbook & HAP
Software.
•Executed and managed all installation activities
of HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing System
(Drainage & Water Supply) as per approved shop
drawings and specifications in compliance with
standards & codes.
•Interfaces with suppliers to verify materials
received.
