• Plan Development:
• Manage all plan phases, including top level preliminary targets and bottom up department level pre and post market.
• Recommend strategies to achieve balanced plans, maximizing sales and gross margin opportunities through product mix.
• Reporting Analysis:
• Develop and communicate actionable business analysis and strategies to support achievement of plan.
• Quantify impact on business, including sales, gross margin and inventory management.
• Track floor/space productivity supporting capital.
• Gain merchant partnership to implement strategies.
• Manage inventory content, aging and performance evaluation.
• Recommend liquidation strategies; quantify markdown cost and timing.
• Partner with merchants to create actionable product performance reporting at the appropriate levels.
• Manage brand sales and gross margin performance negotiation backup.
• Merchandise Analyst Staff Development:
• Direct the activities of merchandise analyst team with specific expectations and responsibility for results.
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Manage routine processing including purchase order and price change approval. Communicate variance to plan.
• Maintain plan and forecast support files.

• Reporting to Management for Business Review Trading Meeting & Planning.
• Managing the inventory levels at all times to maintain the quality and quantity.
• Prepare & analysis all the required reports as per the performance of the stores.
• Accountable for utilization of organization's financial planning and analysis tools and processes in planning and measuring the business. Clearance of old stock base on Ageing Report.

• Business planning for the year & Intake & Sales Planning throughout season.
• Manage Forecasting in-season on a monthly basis and support the development of assortment plans.
• Sales Forecast, Promotions Planning, Maintaining Markdowns & OTB Planning using Manhattan Advanced Planning. All Key financial Results are taken care in coordination with Central Finance.
• Continuous monitoring of Open to Buy so that required receipt flow is maintained to achieve the financial plan and/or in-season objectives
• Market analysis with competitors for price competency every quarterly and current trend.
• Performing in-season and post-season analysis and recommend course corrections as appropriate.
• Reporting to Management for Business Review Trading Meeting & Planning.\
• Present •Produce & analyze reports to determine sales/margin/profit information with recommendations where appropriate.
• Assist in the forecasting of orders quantities based on stock & sales information, calculating size ratios & monitoring stock levels & movement.
• Track invoices & shipments and proactively inform line management of deviations.
•Assist in pricing strategy, ensuring logic, commerciality & within Brand targets for margin.
•Ensure information on internal systems is accurate & make recommendations for corrections.
•Communicate to store & warehouse information regarding new arrivals, display material, & stock release & returns.
•Liaising/coordinating with Shipping, Distribution Centers and Finance, and with host brand partners and other suppliers, regarding pricing, barcoding, product, costing, deliveries and other information requirements

1.Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
2.Interview vendors and visit suppliers distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices
3.Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers
4.Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices
5.Negotiate contracts on behalf of their organization
Work out policies with suppliers, such as when products will be delivered
6.Meet with staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
7.Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine need for changes
8.Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories
