Forecasted demand for various SKU’s along with the sales & planning during Monthly
Forecast meetings, considering various factors such as market trends &
obsolescence of stocks.
• Established and reviewed demand plan / baseline rolling forecasts for multiple time
horizons based on trend analysis, historical data and planned sales targets.
• Reviewed the Inventory on a daily-basis to meet turnover goals, monitored forecast
vs actual demand and to ensure cost-effectiveness and mitigate risks.
• Lead monthly cross-functional meetings with sales, logistics, clearing agents and the
finance team to ensure availability of stocks and on-time delivery of stock allocation.
• Prepared weekly reports for the senior management on Near-Expiry stocks, forecast
accuracy, Ageing and Excess stocks.
• Co-ordinate with suppliers for samples and get samples approved by QC.
• Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely
payment of invoices as per LPO, as necessary for the business with the
supplier.
• Contacts and follows-up with local and foreign suppliers to provide with
Quotations/ Delivery / Rejection / Shortage.
• Ensures that letters of credit and related documents are in accordance with
the terms agreed with the foreign suppliers.
• Ensures that purchase orders are efficiently processed and urgent orders for
out of stock items are addressed and actioned immediately
• Preparation of all types of Purchase Order for locals & Imports on ERP
Programming System. (ORACLE)
• Collection of original documents from Accounts. And forwarding to port for
container clearance
• Inventory checking for local RM / PM.
