• Develop system design document including conceptual and physical design.
• Estimate time and resources needed for the development phase.
• Contribute to the coding procedures.
• Allocate tasks among development team.
• Lead the development team to achieve the project goals within the best possible time and quality.
• Represent the development team in any internal or external meeting.
• Act as development team reference for any issue regarding system architecture and coding dilemmas.
• Carry out coding review on every completed piece of code.
• Responsible of keeping the source code safe in a version control system which is usually MS Visual SourceSafe or SVN.
• Set up the guidelines and the coding convention followed by the development team.
• Monitor and track developers’ progress to ensure that the project progresses as planned.
• Responsible for the integration between the developer works.
• Working on behalf of the project manager and the system analyst on project transition from analysis phase to development phase.
• Working on behalf of the project manager and the QC manager on project transition from development phase and testing phase.
