A merge occurred between AFIA & USC where I became responsible for raw material and packaging for two different business large manufacturers, AFIA & USC. My responsibilities included:
Process: To implement procurement plans necessary for purchases. To ensure purchase requisitions in accordance with organizational requirements and/or budgetary constraints. To implement company methods of procurement. To provide supplier samples and/or demonstrations with management and/or user departments for developments.
Preparation of Solicitations: Develop/review specifications, performance terms, and/or acceptance criteria. To locate and select potential suppliers. To prepare competitive bids, quotations, and proposals with pertinent specifications, terms, and conditions. To manage and develop lists of recommended suppliers.
Supplier Analysis: Develop financing and leveraging strategies for purchases along with allocations. Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for purchases. Conduct supplier visits/evaluations to determine suitability. Recommend competitive offerings to management to determine the overall best offer. Measure supplier performance using rating systems and/or predetermined standards.
Contract Execution, Implementation, and Administration: Prepare and/or issue contracts/purchase orders. Obtain legal review and approval of contract when required as per LOA.
