1.Overseeing SAMA regulatory reporting:
•Plan, direct and oversee regulatory reporting and ensure it is in accordance with SAMA regulations and guidelines
•Timely and accurately providing SAMA with explanation for any significant movement and addressing any ad-hoc requests from them or from any other regulatory bodies

2.Managing and reviewing Financial Reports:
•Review the Annual Financial Statements and quarterly publishing and ensure that these comply with SAMA accounting guidelines and IFRS accounting standards and practices
•Provide audit trail evidence and explanation for quires raised by auditors in respect of records and financial statements to support their judgments and conclusions
•Ensure timely filing of financial statements with Capital Market Authorities (CMA) and Ministry of Commerce

3.Managing and reviewing HSBC Group returns and delivering Saudi banks analysis:
•Ensure that group reports are comply with FIM requirements and reporting done within group deadlines and provide a detailed explanation for any significant movement
•Provide analysis for all banks in the kingdom by compiling published information and presenting them in the required EXCOM format on a quarterly basis. This includes the financial performance, analysis and key performance indicators & ratios.

4.Managing and providing System solutions:
•Represent FIN-REP in new system implementation to ensure the new developments are performed in accordance with international accounting standards and reflected correctly in the financial statements
•Ensure data integrity by using exception reporting, variance analysis, reconciliation and other mechanisms to prove completeness, accuracy and relevance of the data
•Reengineer the process of production and validation to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team
