Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and finalize Project according to strict deadline and within budget.
• Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver Project according to the plan. Define the Project objectives and oversee the quality control throughout its life cycle.
• Participating in the formulation and implementation of the Project Management strategy,
• Managing the day-to-day operations of Project Management by facilitating related professional work process to ensure with the established plans and in order to achieve high performance standards.
Project Handled
Jabal Omar Development (JODP): is a unique urban mixed-use Development, which consists of 38 five and four stars hotels & Residential towers, retail concourse, a conference hall, public parks, 3, 000 car parking lots, and supporting religious, social and commercial facilities and services. The Project is located next al Al Haram mosque in Mecca, and spread over an area of 23, 000 square meters and will have a built up floor area of approximately 2, 000, 000 square meters. Sheraton and Westin are five stars hotels located in front of Al Haram Mosque on land area of 11, 375 square meters and have total built area of 198, 451 square meters (4 hotel towers & Podium).
-Develop and implement policies and procedures pertinent to the Technical & Procurement Department.
-Lead the team of Engineers and Designers in the Technical and Procurement Department ensuring highest level of proficiency and accuracy in close coordination with other departments.
-Maintain good business relationship with clients and consultants, attend meetings with consultants and clients and resolve technical issues to the best interest of the company.
-Review Contract Documents at the tender stage and provide technical solutions and professional advice to the best interest of the company
-Review, evaluate and approve offers from suppliers and subcontractors with relevant comparison sheets.
-Review, evaluation and approve the list of manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors according to contract documents and recommend change as necessary.
-Review, evaluate and approve the method statements, program of works, submittal schedules for NOCs, method statements, shop drawings, as built drawings according to contract documents.
-Perform Periodic check and review of the schedule of rates (SOR) in the system and recommend update as necessary as per Company’s procedures.
-Develop and maintain various technical reports as required.
-Review, verify, approve and recommend changes as necessary on the cost comparison sheets (Materials, PMV, and Subcontractors), Cash flow, RFI, and the final cost estimation in close coordination with other department’s heads.
-Review, evaluate and approve the design drawings, as built drawings, quantity take off and the BOQ.
-Review and approve the request for Manpower, materials, subcontractors, etc. ensuring compliance with the contract documents and budget.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining scope, schedule and budget.
-Keep direct communications with the Client’s team, consultants and contractors.
-Monitor and control the project through to its finish.
-Keep project stakeholders informed and involved in project decisions.
-Assit in tender evaluation, contract negotiations and contract award recommendation.
-Hold weekly project meetings/conference calls.
-Oversees and manages project teams on assigned projects in the development and execution of these projects.
-Establish clear and mutual understanding of scope in order to facilitate change management.
-Review and concur with any changes to the project scope, schedule or budget and obtain Client’s approval.
-Provides regular project updates and reports to Client’s management as directed.
-Maintain costs within the budget and maintain agreed upon schedule.
-Coordinate periodic reviews of the project and key design and construction milestones and issue monthly project reports.
-Maintains active project file containing all associated items for an assigned project.
-Safety: Awareness and adherence to CH2M HILL’s and Client H&S programs.
-Development of contingency/risk register and continuous risk management throughout project
-Team work and direct coordination of the Principle Program Manager for the project delivery manager and other Project manager within the team.
-Take part in the effort to procure the services of an external final Design firms to support the development of the appropriate tender packages for the project.
-Take part in the project team, including both internal and external resources, in the final design and development of bid and construction documents and drawings.
-Take part in the effort to procure and execute construction services from external contractors by managing both internal and external resources.

-Cross checking all contractual documents, drawings prior to the commencement of construction to know discrepancies, if any for necessary action.
-Site inspection and supervision from beginning till to the end of projects for quality assurance, safety execution.
-Review and Prepare monthly payment for authenticating & certifying its percentage of work and costing.
-Prepare monthly progress report method of statements.
-Chairing site meetings with Subcontractors & suppliers in respects to delivery dates, coordination and smooth progress, minutes of meeting given to all attendees.
-Ensuring that Contractor adheres to, and meets his contractual obligations.
-Holding Weekly meeting with client, head office.
-Preparation of specification documents after thoroughly studying the type of requirement, suitable material keeping in view the purpose of the projects & finalizing the manufacturer after co-ordination with all concern parties.

-Preparing minutes of meeting & giving to client, consultant & all concern.
-Closely monitoring site progress and trouble shooting.
-Prepare work program & obtain its approval.
-Ensuring during construction quality health & safety to the international standards.
-Prepare and cross check subcontractor’s claimed invoices before certifying.
-Preparing monthly progress report.
-Reporting site activities to main office.
-Responsible to execute the complete project works as per drawings.
-Responsible to calculate the required quantities of materials.
-Preparation of Bills & payment on weekly bases.
-Co-ordination with Consultant, Sub-contractors & Suppliers.
-Execution of all works according to approved drawings.
-Scheduling of work and reinforcement detailing.
-Layout of piles, pile caps, columns, planted columns, surveying & leveling with theodolite & leveling instruments.
-Carrying out all finishing works entirely for the satisfaction of clients & Architects.
-Preparing daily, weekly & monthly work progress report.
