• Accept and record ocean freight, rates and costs. And set up files based on pre-alerts.
• Communicate with overseas agents, and respond to all inquiries in timely manner.
• Monitor and confirm arrival and/or departure of freight.
• Ensure operations carried out in accordance to Company’s objectives.
• Ensure that all documentation and assignments are carried out in a timely.
• Preparing weekly, monthly, yearly reports for container traffic, and outdoor activities.
• Manage the commercial relationship between the Company and its target clients.
• Communicate with clients, brokers and carriers.
• Responsible of marketing research and insure that all team member are achieving the organizations goals and requirement.
• Handling sea, air and land freight shipments from its origin until received by its final destination, and effectively controlling the flow of cargo for sea export operations as it enters the warehouse (packing, consolidation and stuffing, operation, follow up..)
• Attending and solving any disputes/discrepancy in Pre-Shipment & Post-Shipments procedure.
• Carrying out calculations of rates/Quotations & giving offers to customers as well as calculating expenses & file profit.

• Develop & build solid relationships with carriers, at all levels, seeking best fit with the global carrier management plan.
• Secure the necessary rates and space agreements direct from carriers or via the Global Carrier Management team as appropriate.
• Build market and product knowledge and work actively to educate and share with colleagues and the wider business.
• Manage team members, coach and guide them as necessary, set and monitor performance driven objectives.
• Nurture and sustain existing business whilst developing new revenue streams from existing clients. & Responsibility for the reporting of all operation activity, any shortcomings in production, and variation in trends.
• Assist with preparation of the annual budget and be responsible for ensuring the Company meets the costs, revenue and financial targets therein.
• Develop strategic plan including pricing changing and new promotional approaches.
