Manage and oversee medical services to Insurance and Corporate customers of the Medical Centers
Manage and negotiate contracts with insurance companies to obtain recognition as a service provider.
Coordinate with insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, reconciliation and other requirements.
Review insurance claims to ensure accuracy as per agreement, prior to dispatch to respective insurance companies
Design, update and implement policies, procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and accuracy in insurance operations.
Monitor insurance discounts and rejections and prepare & submit periodic reports to the Finance Manager.
Ensure that the insurance schemes are up to date on the system
Ensure the delivery of excellent patient experience while approval is sought for insurance claims.
Ensure departmental operations are effectively conducted within the budget.
Train physicians, Reception, Department and other staff in insurance protocols.
Conduct departmental meetings with staff for updates and to educate them on new work methods.
Initiate steps to improve the departmental functioning.
Enhance professional growth, training and development through participation in training.

• Control Hospital Medical Insurance systems (definition of the new policies; update the existing policies, control the excluded services, diagnosis and Drugs, entry of the agreed price list with the insurance companies, definition of insurance companies' agreed discounts.
• System definition of the corporate discount Policies.
• Working and supervising insurance pre-approvals Team.
• Hospital Staff Training (Doctors, Receptionists, Nurses & insurance team)..
• Solve and follow up with insurance companies any problems related to their members.
• Providing the insured patient with any quires re their insurance policies (insurance customer services).
