Managing and leading a group of engineers and technicians (~15 employees) to create and control equipment maintenance programs and reduce breakdowns.
1- Establishing reliability based planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for all terminal equipment.
2- Analyzing equipment breakdowns to create counter measures and develop improvement plans.
3- Analyze, report, and find solutions to improve maintenance department performance.
4- Using condition based maintenance technologies like IR, oil analysis, vibration, visual inspection, and ultrasound to monitor the condition of different equipment components. Coordinate with maintenance planning section to schedule the required repairs.
5- Support decision making with all required technical specs and information.
6- Using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate and eliminate all equipment failures and accidents. Execute necessary repairs and modifications to eliminate repeated breakdowns.
7- Executing lean Six Sigma projects (DMAIC) and A3 projects (PDCA) to enhance the performance of maintenance department to increase equipment availability, reduce down time, utilize manpower, reduce maintenance cost, and decrease mean time to repair.
8- Applying TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to increase OEE (overall equipment effectiveness).
9- Establishing maintenance related SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for all maintenance activities and procedures.
10- Contacting all equipment OEM to discuss technical solutions for the failures and challenges we face that affects equipment performance and equipment maintenance.
11- Continuous research and developments to select most suitable materials and procedures to perform different maintenance activities such as lubricant types, and lubrication methods.
