My role was cross-functional in that I assisted in the Business Analysis, Software Engineering, Architecture, Database development and develop logical/physical models and assist senior leadership in all aspects. Ultimately I assisted in taking their complex business problems and simplifying it and providing solutions and the strategy for senior leadership to use to get there.
• Helping T Rowe Price modernize its 401k/Retirement software portfolio and introduce newer technologies into its software platform. (For example, phasing out Java and moving towards a Node.js and HTML5/CSS3 type platform \[Enterprise JavaScript\]).
• Provide strategic technical advice, expertise and skills to advance the Company’s technical platform (Architecture, Software Engineering Platforms, Web-Development, etc.).

I was hired as a fulltime Government Employee to help management their ECM (Enterprise Content Management System). ATEC is the command center for all Army testing in the United States. ATEC oversees and develops policies for how each of ~8 Test Centers (distributed across the US) conducts testing for military equipment.
My job was to maintain the software systems, collect and develop new requirements and provide strategic technical decisions on which software technologies to adopt. I was able to successfully create and lead a Business Analyst branch in order to improve how software was developed.
• Maintain the existing ECM (OpenText ECM) and provide the strategy to convert OpenText ECM into a Microsoft SharePoint solution.
• Teach and Mentor Junior level developers and business analysts.
• Design and architect technical solutions to complex problems and provide expertise in computer-science related work.
• 50% Computer Science, 25% Business Analysis, and 25% Project Management.
• Provide leadership with technical advice/strategy, participate in the TRB (technical review board) and the CCB (change control board), mentor/train entry level government employees, resume review and any other duties that where needed.
• Technical:
