We are pleased to provide the agricultural & operational services to support the agro-companies & farms to improve the productivity, cost & profitability. Where the scope of services as follows:
First: Agricultural Technical Services:
1. Enhance the technical situation of farm through:
a. Determine the soil fertility and the most important limitation of agricultural production.
b. Evaluate the technical status of the existing crops (health & nutrients level), create an action plan to improve the crop performance and determine the potential yield target.
c. Evaluate technical status of the irrigation systems (Drip - Spraying - Pivot), and create an action plan to maintain and enhance the system performance.
d. Evaluate technical status of the machineries in terms of their efficiency, durability and suitability for the agricultural operations required to be implemented.
e. Monitor the pests situation (weeds - fungal - insect) and create an action to control the pests.
2. Create a proposal for the most appropriate cropping system and prepare the feasibility studies for it based on the soil fertility & market needs.
3. Conduct training agronomical programs for the farm team.
4. Conducting follow-up for the crops status and agriculture operations program.
5. Provide periodic reports on the technical status of crops and their development.
6. Hold a monthly meeting with the company's management to present the position of all crops and recommendations.
Second: Operational Services:
1. Prepare a seasonal / annual plan for agricultural operations for all crops.
2. Prepare a plan for the required manpower for all crops and operations.
3. Contribution to the preparation of the general budget for agricultural production regards the raw materials & agricultural operations cost, and monitor the supply process from the technical side.
4. Conducting follow-up monthly / periodical visits to follow up operations progress and updates.
5. Holding a monthly meeting with the management of the company to present the operational position of agricultural production.
Strategize the company future plan to be based on the self-farming projects;
Preparing the project annual business plan;
Developed and lead farming activities and Ag-teams for 52, 000 acre farmed with forage, vegetable and grain crops;
Survey, and choose the proper available land for the farming projects in Egypt;
Develop and update the Agriculture Procedure booklet to match the various project and crop activities;
Promote the improvement of agricultural productivity (more crop to the drop)
Develop baseline measures of sustainability and chart progress over time
Promote the well-being of our customers and the people working in our operations and communities
Issuing the action plans for the projects and several crop seasons;
Optimization of the cropping financial returns
Plan and direct the development and production of hybrid crop varieties with high yield or disease and insect resistant characteristics;
Choosing the required machinery, equipment, and supplies, such as tractors, seed, fertilizer, and chemicals;
Hire, discharge, transfer, and promote workers, enforces safety regulations, and interprets policies;
Direct and coordinate work activities, such as planting, irrigation, fertilizer application, harvesting, grading, and record keeping;
Developed and lead farming activities and team for where 18, 000 acre farmed with forage and grain crops and 2, 000 acre farmed with citrus crops;
Negotiated and closed deals to link neighboring farms to for economic units.
Survey, and choose the proper available land for the farming projects in Egypt;
Preparing the agricultural and production annual plan for the projects;
Issuing the action plans for the projects and several crop seasons;

Analyzing agricultural data to diagnosis the works done to improve production quantity and quality, further to optimizing production cost;
a. Plan and develop the agriculture and production business and strategies;
b. Develop and control the agricultural activities of ASC-Alexandria for Sugar Company;
c. Plan the infrastructure for the new projects"AUCR-Alexandria Untied for Land Reclamation" in El Minya;
d. Develop the outsources input materials;
e. Provide the company with the production cycles requirements such as crop seed “varieties and quality”, fertilizers “types, rates, and action plan”, irrigation water “rates, and action plan”;
f. Follow up the implementation of the approved plans Active;
g. Technical supervision departments of agriculture and the fight against insects, pests and weeds;
h. Recommendation qualities of seeds and fertilizers to be used in agriculture;
i. Preparation of studies needs any additional agricultural equipment;
j. Periodic visits to the site to follow the progress of work and implementation plans;
k. Prepare periodic reports on the company's agricultural business;
l. Setup / monitor and supervise the implementation of agricultural crop trials and different irrigation systems;
m. Communication with universities and research centers to follow the latest scientific developments in the field of agriculture;
n. Participate in the preparation of annual budget for agriculture business and follow up their implementation;
1. Develop sourcing model to reduce or eliminate the use of middle men and increase control of the agricultural supply chain
a. Develop forward contracting schemes with growers & associations
b. Establish field buying offices to get closer to the farm gate and to build branded relationships with growers
c. Maximize the sourcing of onions from large scale growers
d. Evaluate and develop opportunities to do our own farming
2. Maximize the use and productivity of Olam high solids onion varieties
a. Conduct variety trials to evaluate and recommend production plans by variety
b. Using expertise from U.S. Ag Operations and own learnings from trial work, manage cultural operations to maximize yields, solids, and quality
c. Optimize the use of large scale growers for direct seeded, mechanically harvested onions
d. Take measures to protect the ownership of the varieties
3. Food Safety & Traceability
a. Teach and employ SVI Good Agricultural Practices to achieve compliance with the use of crop protection chemicals
b. Strive to add traceability of finished product back to the area and field
c. Learn and comply with international standards for food safety
4. Sustainability
a. Learn and understand the key sustainability values of Olam and SVI
b. Promote the improvement of agricultural productivity (more crop to the drop) and measures that improve the environmental health of the agricultural food system
c. Develop baseline measures of sustainability and chart progress over time
d. Seek funding opportunities from NGO’s or government organizations in support of sustainability measures
e. Promote the well-being of our growers and the people working in our operations and communities
Preparing the annual agricultural and production plan for 15, 000.0 hectares in the company projects in Egypt and Sudan;
Plans and directs development and production of hybrid crop varieties with high yield or disease and insect resistant characteristics;
Manage and maintain the company’s farms, for several crops;
Develop and implement the needed agricultural plans in order to secure needed quantity and quality of the produced crops; Create all of the growth plans related to the company, such as planning and managing for all of the company activities;
Compile, implement and manage all chemical, fertilizer and irrigation programs;
Supervising and training production engineers and managers on the farm;
Assuring crop is produced, harvested according to technical specifications;
Choosing the required machinery, equipment, and materials, such as tractors, seed, fertilizer, and chemicals;
Hires, discharges, transfers, and promotes workers, enforces safety regulations, and interprets policies;
Directs and coordinates worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, fertilizer application, harvesting, grading, and record keeping;
Analyzing agricultural data documented in the reports to diagnosis the works done to improve production quantity and quality, further to optimizing production cost;
Marketing the project services for the customers Farmers, Agronomists, and agro-companies and projects owners, in Ismailia, Port said, Suez, El-Sharqia, North Sinai, South Sinai, and New Valley (El-Owienate) region;
Take soil, water, and plant samples in the farm survey;
Working in the lab to get the analysis of the samples, and write the report about analysis results;
Put the fertilizer recommendation for all crops in the Farm (Fruit: Grape, Orange, Date, and Mango), (Grain: Wheat, Barley, Corn, and Peanut), (Vegetables: Potatoes, Onion, and Tomato), and (Forage: Alfalfa, Sorghum, Millet, Sudangrass, and other grasses) based on the crop requirements and soil and plant tissues analysis;
Fellow the crop status during the season and correct the deficiency may take place;
Make reports about the farm status and crop progress;
Participated with the Project team in directing 1, 500 hectare of Orange, 1, 000 hectare of Mango, and 100 hectare of Date trees in El-Salehia area;
Managing irrigation and fertilization station activities;
Calculation crop water requirements during all seasons based on the data from the weather station under arid and semi-arid regions in the farm for the crop sowed (Mango, Grape, Orange, Dates, Wheat, and Peanut);
Follow irrigation status in the farm by follow the soil moisture content, plant status, and weather data;
Introduce periodical reports about irrigation and the works done;
Evaluation of Al Rahad project Land using remote sensing and GIS technology
