• Responsibilities span GISC related support in all JCI plants in Europe. Middle East, Africa & Latin America
• Responsible for developing & aligning IT Strategies to enable business capabilities to support Supply Chain network optimization, foot print & plant moves, Johnson Controls Manufacturing System (JCMS = LEAN), ERP, CMMS & Asset management, rate shopping, planning, S&OP, BOM configurators as well as IT integration projects for mergers & acquisitions

Reporting to: Customer Service Director Middle East - Global Integrated Supply Chain
• Initiate, lead & manage supply chain related projects in the Middle East including
• Inventory Optimization & Management (IOM): Achieved 50% Reduction in WH footprint in the region & total cost of inventory ownership. The project covered ME geography including UAE, Turkey, Qatar, & Egypt. It delivered substantial annual savings and tremendous process improvements & inventory accuracy
• Improvements in Demand Planning Processes (S&OP) - Achieve reduction in variability (turbulence) & improved visibility in the orders delivery process assuring constant orders delivery to meet ME revenue plans by improving orders tracking, and revenue forecasting

Reporting to: Operations & Administration Vice President, Middle East & managing a team of 10 people
• Established a department to manage the operations in ME Emerging markets & distribution (MED) region, which is accountable for procurement, customer service, logistics, continuous improvement, information technology, facility management, & compliance (SOX & FCPA) in 7 countries (Egypt, Jordan & Lebanon branches in addition to 4 distribution channels in Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan)
• I was able to drive the transformation & compliance for the internal processes & internal controls to meet SOX & FCPA requirements & successfully passed SOX and FCPA audits
• Implemented Six Sigma projects for simplifying business processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs delivering tangible annual benefits of USD 350+K in 2011 only
• Leading the supplier relation with the local OEM & ensuring delivery of products & compliance to internal controls
• Implemented and rolled out the company’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Egypt, which enabled smooth operations during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011 with zero lost working days.
• Successfully executed the relocation project for Johnson Controls office, showcasing the company’s capabilities in AHU, VAV, FCU, BMS, VSD, ACS, FAS, PA & LEED compliance

Reporting to: CEO, Trane Egypt & managing a team of 30+ people
• Managed the DBM & IT/IS department in Trane factory in Egypt with a scope of the planning, procurement, logistics and customer service, in addition to IT/IS
• Achieved prime KPI objectives - improved on time delivery from 63% to 98% while simultaneously reducing inventories by 55% in one year
• Developed and Implemented new processes with the 6-Sigma teams that improved efficiency of the planning processes enabling simulations of demand variations & customer enquiries, which improved visibility and helped in driving the production line utilization from 320 min/man-day to 421 min/man-day (i.e. improved productivity from 70% to 88%) in 6 months
• Managed the IT/IS department supporting 70+ PCs for ERP, desktop support & Engineering applications

Reporting to: Manufacturing Director, Jeddah Plant & managing a team of 20+ people
• Managed the supply chain department in the plant covering inventory control, procurement, sourcing, vendor management, cost reduction projects and production planning & control
• Successfully implemented MRP and reorganized the SCM department for effective management of inventory control, cost reduction & sales orders fulfilment following the SCOR® model
• Coached & developed team, boosted teamwork of the multi-cultural team, developed teams’ skills matrix.
• Significantly improved all KPIs for on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, inventory turnover & cost reduction - Achieved improvement in monthly on time delivery from 26% to 95% and reduced purchased materials costs by 1.8% in 2007

• Led a team of 8 consultants and managed consulting & support services for implementing iScala ERP systems for clients in Egypt, KSA, UAE, Jordan, Algeria, Kuwait & Morocco. Implemented manufacturing, finance & logistics modules in addition to customization & technical support.
• Managed projects activities including initiation, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, customer relations management, scope definition and scope control as well as supervision of the project execution and auditing the implementation quality. Consistently achieved revenue targets & profit margins
• Managed customer relations and maintained customer satisfaction scores in audits conducted by the HO in Sweden between 81% and 86% against the global norms of 75%.
• Managed the Skills Matrix of the team including performance appraisal of consultants, training & development needs identification and development of the consultants’ skills
