Major Responsibilities:
Lead the Preparation of MEA monthly Financials.
Prepare the quarterly forecast & Yearly Business Plan for MEA Operations Department and Employee Wise
Analysis of variance for the Plan & Forecast.
Consolidation reports and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
Overseas and Manage the workload of the Finance Team and manage their professional development.
Lead the VAT Compliance of GCC Region including computation of Liability, return filing
Perform Revenue recognition checks on weekly and monthly basis and identify & resolve the issues to maximize the revenue of the company.
Perform general ledger account analysis includes
Prepaid & Provisions for the Month.
Prepare the Monthly Intercompany invoices, Provide the required supporting & explanation for the Increase/Decrease in Cost.
Lead in Working with Auditor to Provide and Finalized the Audit for MEA Region.
Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives with Analysis & Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Develop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processes for Mena Region.
Manage working capital metrics and monitor operating expenses to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness are maintained.
Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement based on findings make a proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
Liaising with banks regarding the corporate loan, Islamic loan and other funded and not funded facilities.
AR/AP/Fixed Assets:
Prepare AR & AP Ageing and track the invoices on a weekly basis and follow up with the PM/Clients for the payment.
Preparation the collection report and forecast the upcoming collection for cash flow purpose.
Prepare reports to include Ageing Region Wise, Project Manager
Reconcile all the Customer Account and adjust the customers if any amendments.
Create Fixed Asset in System and update the fixed asset register
Prepare fixed asset reconciliation on a periodic basis to ensure all the fixed asset balances are accurate.
Ensure depreciation and retirement of the fixed asset is run in the system on a periodic basis
Project Accounting & Reporting:
Prepare a different report for PD & PM which includes Revenue related report, Utilization, Effective multiplier, Project Financials Status, Resource planning & workload, Project Health Report, Time Tracking, Base Line report, Portfolio, MEA Operational, Accounting & Marketing Dashboard.
Additionally, help PM Provide training to new pms in use of Project Finance tools.
Preparation of Group Concerns monthly, Quarterly, Annually consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
Preparation of Department and Location Wise P&L and Balance sheet.
Preparation and in-depth analysis of Salesman profit Loss and evaluate sales person performances Area, category, product and country wise on monthly basic.
Preparation and in-depth Analysis of Area, City, and Country wise Profit and Loss and evaluate the markets on a monthly basis.
Preparation of all the company trends reports includes Group, Sister Concerns, department wise, Location wise, Area Wise, Country-wise Gross Profit Trends, P&L Trends, Stock Trends, Receivable trends, Sales trends, Sale vs. Stock Trends, Sales vs. Expenses Trends, Sales Against collection trends.
Prepare and in-depth analysis of Customer Outstanding report includes Ageing from the due date and Ageing from the transaction date.
Prepare, Analysis and monitor Group Receivable reports, Department wise receivable report, Sales Man wise receivable report, City and County wise receivable report.
Preparation of Receivable Target against variance reports and receivable Collection Report Sales Man wise, City Wise, department wise with in-depth Analysis and present into Management.
Prepare and analysis all the customer receivables, sales, collections and verify customers limits and present customer rating report on monthly basic to the management to Conduct credit control policies
Preparation of group, a Sister concern, Department wise monthly, quarterly and annual budget reports and Analysis of Actual Vs Budget Reports.
Prepares Cash Flow forecast monthly, quarterly, annually analyzed planned against financing needs.
Preparation of Group, Sister Concerns & Internal department Expense report segment wise.
Prepares and evaluate CGS vs. Category utilization report area and location wise.
Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
Participate in strategic planning and formulating long-term business plans budgets and periodic forecasting
Assist in the development, Planning and implementation of financial policies, procedure and practices.
Perform all the required cash management operations with the banks involving cash management accounts reconciliation, processing and deposit all the cheques to the banks with accuracy and timeliness.
Maintenance of the general ledger, customer Account and Vendor Accounts.
Preparation of depreciated and amortization schedule of the fixed asset
Liaising with banks regarding the corporate loan, Islamic loan includes Term Loan, Musharka, Mudarba, Istisna, Wakala and other funded facilities.
Prepare all the supporting documents for the annual audit with external auditor and actively participate in the annual audit process to ensure quality information is provided in a timely manner
