The Khurais project as a whole covers three oilfields: Khurais, Abu Jifan and Mazalij. The Khurais field, with an area of 2, 890km² and 127km long, located about 250km south-west of Dhahran and 300km north south-east of Riyadh, is the biggest in the project. The objective of the Khurais expansion programme is to increase production capacity at the Khurais Central Processing Facilities (CPF) by 300, 000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) from its current capacity of 1.2 mbpd, as well as to enhance production from the Mazalij and Abu Jifan fields by installation of a satellite Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP).
It comprises of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of a gas pipeline, 18” (2057 Km), including pigging facilities and all associated tie-ins, piping and manifold works. Baseline cost 875 MUSD; Man-hour 7.25 M mh

• Lead a team of project control professionals which includes project planning, cost control, procurement, document control and resource/logistical administration in coordination with project senior staff and company relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee complete Supervision and Management of Projects Commercial departments with guidance from the Project Director.
• Develop as required project control strategies, plans and procedures to achieve a holistic and integrated project control system during all phases of the project.
• Establishment of all required project controls systems, guide their set up and integration through common coding and structures.

• Recommend and monitor the acceptability of contractor submitted planning package including proposal for schedule development, progress measurement, KPI’s and reporting to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of project HSSE and QA/QC processes/procedures and activities in close Departments in order to ensure timely recruitment of the required resources.
• Ensure VOWD’s are all submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with budgetary forecast.
• Interface with the Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Department to ensure timely processing and execution of all IT/IM and ORACLE related activities, and timely availability of IT equipment and software.
• Support Saudization development through the mentoring, training and development of nominated Saudi Nationals in order to realize the full potential for local talents, and maximize contribution to project success.
• Preparation of engineering & Procurement deliverable register worked out for each discipline, in-line with the Project schedule and to monitor the status of project deliverable Engineering/Procurement progress. Also to prepare/issue Behind Schedule deliverable report and Delay analysis.
