•Rich experience as a Group Head of numerous Electronics/Electrical and Automobiles Engineering Service and director planning and technical support in Army and later as a Plant Head of a Manufacturing unit employing 800 persons.
•Well versed with concepts and execution and implementation of principles of 5-S, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM and OEE analysis.

•Well versed with Expansion Projects and independently organizing and running materials and logistics functions effectively.
•Sound understanding of diverse leadership and administrative roles where work ethics and commitment to excellence do value addition to the organization.
•Actively engaged in the aforementioned activities of administration, engineering, inventory and managerial field since March 1977.
Last Recent Assignment. Headed as Plant Head and Executive Director a manufacturing plant of a large global Group, Supermax Personal Care Private Limited with it’s global office based in Dubai.
•Broadly as Plant Head/Additional Director my Role & Responsibilities involved the following :
•PPC & Budgeting.
•Prepare annual production/business plan for the unit in association and coordination with MD.
•Manage the unit as a separate profit centre and ensure achievement of Production targets (in terms of quantity, quality & cost with adherence to the SOP’s defined) within the budget given.
•Introduce various cost control measures to ensure maximum cost saving and achievement of budget figures. Keeping COGS under control.
•Operation, Accounts & MIS.
•Define SOPs for various functions and ensure that various department work as per the SOPs.
•Ensure smooth functioning of the plant operations as per the standard and guidelines set.
•Conducting monthly review with HOD’s, monitoring budget vs actual achievement to ensure the achievement of planned goals on timely manner and do any course correction if required.
•Provide regular MIS to management on production, dispatch, cost saving, target vs achievement, incident reporting etc.
•Compliance & Liaison.
•Responsible for obtaining various permissions from statutory authorities required for smooth administration of the plant.
•Responsible for maintaining smooth relationship with all statutory authorities such as commissioner’s office, environment officials, excise and sales tax officials, etc.
•Liaison - become member to various industry associations, represent own industry to these associations and Banks.
•Regular correspondence and communication with the statutory authorities regarding all statutory issues.
•New Initiatives and Future Planning.
•Continuously liaise with the Sales & Marketing team to look for new product development and product enhancement.
•Continuously work towards for development of new products, introduce new machineries, develop in-house technology, up gradation and expansion of the plant.
•Search for and implement an ERP solution for the unit.

•Monitoring of local and global market trends and keeping a watch on competitors activities.

•Handle the role and responsibilities of the Director.
•Create a positive work culture, motivate & guide the team to increase the engagement level.
•Develop HR strategy for the team and implement the same.
This is a diploma in Information Technology and Management wahich had been very useful in running the MIS of various departments.
