- responsible of all the communication with other departments (Projects, Engineering, Production, QC/QA, Galvainzing & Dispatching)
- responsible to lead 2 teams of Planners:
1- Materials Planners: they are responsible to control all raw materials by using software called Bocad, and reduce the scrap percentage as much as possible, and reuse for the offcuts generate during fabrication, make estimation for the new projects.
2- Production planers: they are responsible to make the daily loading schedule, and machine allocation, check the productivity for every machine to know it is matching with the planning target or no, if no make re-plan to correct the deviation in the plan, make the raw material request from store, make purchasing request for all raw materials and send to purchasing department.
all activities of the planners should be review and approve from the planning section head.
- make yearly plan for the projects according to the company production target, and projects priorities, and determine the monthly production target.
- study the tracking list for fabrication plans come from Project Department and make the monthly plan, and determine the number of machines needed to implement this plan.
- Authorities:
- Make yearly and monthly plan for fabrication.
-Control all issuance of the raw materials from store.
-Review and approve the cutting list before issue to fabrication.
-Approve the raw material request before issue to store.
-Approve purchasing order before issue to purchasing department.
-make the yearly objective for the planning department.
-Training all planning members on the planning activities.

Responsibilities:
- Make the Raw materials arrangement for each cutting Plan in the Project.
- Keep the scrap % in the Raw Materials within the acceptable limits.
- Increase the usage from the Raw Material’s Offcuts generated from the previous Projects in current Projects.
- Make the Packing List for the Final Products.
