Responsibilities:
1. Handling the testing of samples with other TC Labs and LCR with results interpreting and explanation for both quality and process dept.
2. Launching the CTC product data base report for 2009.
3. Support Emirates, Pakistan & Nigeria plants to improve:
• The Lab mastery and LAI.
• KFUI and raw mix activity.
• Improve the clinker reactivity
• C/K ratio and product development
4. Member in Raw Mix Cop with the other TC’s sharing in:
• Homo silo Technical Agenda
• Cross Belt Analyzer Technical Agenda
1) Determine KPI’s and ensure dissemination throughout the Company
2) Determine Quality improvement plans to ensure KPI objectives are achieved
3) Liaise with customers on a regular basis to understand and improve Company Quality performance and partnerships
4) In conjunction with the Management Team develop programmes to minimize waste and non-conformances to achieve KPI targets
5) In conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager develop and maintain a robust supply chain
6) Continually develop the Company Quality System and ensure the internal audit programme is maintained and adjusted to reflect the system requirements
7) Ensure all specified Quality standards are achieved throughout the Company
8) Liaise with and support all departments to achieve overall business objectives
9) Identify and promote flexibility throughout the department and arrange any training as necessary
10) Oversee budgetary control of the department
11) Prioritize tasks and personal planning
12) Ensure the Quality team perform their roles and responsibilities as defined in their job descriptions
13) Manage the implementation of the working tasks regarding resources handling and control the performance of working tasks from the working order.
14) Ensure the necessary resources and defines the working tasks based on the daily plan achievement and the list of set values
15) Keep all other process leaders and top Management fully briefed on all aspects relevant to S&E performance of the operations.
16) Manage the implementation of the safety & environment policy
17) Manage and directing the safety team in terms the safety & environment KPI’s implementation.
18) Review and insure the safety & environment KPI’s has been achieved.
1) Responsible for the quality control of all lines
2) Ensure that the routine sampling system is efficient and that samples are representative.
3) Ensure that the process control laboratory equipments are well calibrated and results are reliable.
4) Take corrective actions when there are variances in the planned performances
5) Ensure that standard methods of testing are established
6) Following the control the quality of the clinker and final product
7) Support the process management system and promote teamwork
8) Optimizes equipment output
9) Has the quality instructions applied by the production and laboratory staff
10) Prepare short term plans
