Tellurian Book Production specializes in designing and producing an attractive range of diaries for the corporate environment in different designs, formats, textures and colors to cater to all tastes.
-Laying out artwork to plan how a finished page will appear.
-Using desktop publishing (DTP) software packages to set out the artwork, images and text in line with design requirements.
-Proofreading and checking the whole document for accuracy and visual impact.
-Preparing of press-ready Pdf and Ps files, incorrect data problems solving.
-Preparing Imposition data to suite the production workflow.
-Operating CTP Screen PR-8100 and developers, Kodak, Fuji, Agfa plates exposition and developing equipment and chemistry, plates quality inspection (Gretag MacBeth ICPlate, CCDot measurement devices).
-Adjusting Linearization curve to compensate dot gain Difference in Offset Printing.
-Calculating and repairing the right materials for each job including make ready depend on the job process.
-Scheduling workflow plan for each job step by step (Printing - Folding - Inserting - Gathering - Smith Sewing - Gild Edging - Ratio Binding - Perfect Binding - Saddle Stitching and Hard Case Production).
-Checking production daily report, setting proper quota for each machine on daily basis.
-Quality control and Checking the products through printing and binding steps.
-Organized new system for more company benefits.
-Communicating with local and overseas supplier to purchase the correct materials as per the job requirement.
-Handling all internal and external problem of the printing press by communicating with service department to provide suitable maintenance services and spare parts for the machines.

-Design creation for ads in the tabloid, responsible for all designing of brochures and leaflet
-Responsible of the prepress department guiding on outputting, color retouching, design remarks, bleed, distributing pages.
-Checking colors and adjustment if necessary, printing registration & approval of paper quality to be used.
-Preparation of press-ready Pdf and Ps files, incorrect data problems solving.
-Colour Management, measuring (Gretag MacBeth, X-Rite devices), calibrating and applying of colour profiles for different equipment, certified proof systems operating: GMG Proof + Epson.
