upervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• Dealing with All authorities for Required Approvals, NOC and BCC
• Preparing Project Schedule with Planner and ensure that execution is as per plan during all project phases.
• Present to stakeholders reports on progress (weekly basis ) as well as problems and solutions
• Coordinating and supervising construction workers & Selecting tools and materials
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• maintaining quality control procedures.
• finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, assessing & minimizing risk, Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork.
• helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licenses
working as project engineer in iconic high rise building project in dubai-buisness bay area, scope of work as following :
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, standards and specifications
• Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs & requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
