Projects:

1- Qatar Integrated Railways Project - Red Line South Underground

The Red Line runs for about 40 kilometers from Al Wakra in the south to Lusail in the north. The line also connects Hamad International Airport at Terminal 1 to the center of the city. It has 17 stations with the Legtaifiya Station allowing passengers to transfer over to the Lusail Light Rail Transit. Our company already awarded a contract of full MEP works for the following 5 stations (Al Doha Al Jadeda, Umm Ghawalina, Al Matar, Oqba Ibn Nafie and Al Mansoura Stations).

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for handling fire suppression system in a collaborative BIM Environment using REVIT 2014 compliance with the Project BIM Standards for the duration of the project up till the handover.

• Reviewing and commenting the original design for Fire Suppression system that have been provided by the client and project consultant.

• Establish all Tender documents of Project Specifications, MTR, Tender Design Drawings, Tender BOQ, Calculations and Particular conditions during the Tender stage of the projects.

• Preparing material requisitions for mechanical equipments and reviewing counter suppliers submittals in conjunction with project mechanical specifications and QCDD (Qatar Civil Defense Department).

• Conducting a several of technical meetings with all supplier regarding all materials for fire suppression system during the quotation stage.

• Preparing all Fire Suppression system calculations such as Hydraulic and NPSH Calculations.

• Manage and lead team of BIM Modelers working on modelling process and coordination preparation of submission of MEP model for approval and shop drawing to achieve the project time schedule in addition to extracting data from the model to contribute directly to support monthly reporting which influence the commercial outcomes on the project.

• Interface with and support the procurement and commercial teams to package work scopes for inquiry.

• Connect BIM to the onsite activates through the site management team.

2- Research and Development Complex, Education City, Qatar Foundation, Qatar

40, 000 M² Research and Development buildings already will hand over in the next few months adjacent to the Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP). The first phase 5000 Ton Refrigerant consists of 3 buildings.

1- South Building (Offices - Special Cooling system for Computer lab).
2- North Building (Chemical Laboratories - Offices). 3- Utility Building.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and commenting the original design for HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting that have been provided by the client and project consultant (AEI - AECOM - MZP - SHAKER).

• Preparing material requisitions for mechanical equipments and reviewing counter suppliers’ submittals in conjunction with project mechanical specifications.

• Preparing and reviewing the shop drawings, using AutoCAD 2013, for all mechanical installations.

• Leading a team of 4 Draftsmen and organize project time schedule.

• Prepare the martial list for equipment, fire damper, volume damper and valves.

• Review the Chilled water pipe size and pumps (flow rate and pressure).

• Coordinating with other project trades (Electrical, Structure and Architecture).

• Checking for all mechanical variation required by the client and/or project consultant.

• Worked as fire fighting site Engineer temporarily conducting a lot of site inspections, hydrostatic tests and flushing tests until the handing over process to QCDD (Qatar Civil Defense Department).

• Preparing as built drawings for approval and handing over all project documents.
